Appearance- Essie is a silently beautiful girl. With a pixie cut and a shy but daring smile, the mid twenties girl seems like a friendly character. Her skin has a light honey brown glow and is clear, an oddity for most teenagers. She is slender with a tiny build and stands at five feet, shorter than most her age. The most striking feature about Essie is her almost pure white eyes. Born blind, Essie's doe brown eyes are covered in a milky white substance.
Personality- Essie is shy but sweet and friendly. She isn't good at being mean and likes to have a good pun to laugh to, mainly because it is something she can hear. She can be easily annoyed by ignorant people but usually has a tolerating spirit. She is kind of dreamy but she is intelligent.
Background- Essie lost her sight when she was fifteen due to the genetic disease of a deteriorating and detaching retina and cornea. Her parents split due to the overwhelming stress of dealing with a blind girl and she was left with her father.
Why She Came- Essie, who is not well off, was offered the chance to get a seeing eye dog if she came to the manor. For a girl who has no chance of seeing ever again, the dog was what she settled for. She's getting tired of using a ski pole.
