Arena One: Death from Above

It is a dark night above  the forest, but beautiful nonetheless. All the stars can be seen, and  every constellation within them. You've been cut off from the world and  even some of the tributes for a day now. Part of you wonders if you'll  see the deaths from the other arena as well as wondering who died, and  when the Capitol anthem sounds, you get your answer.

Telle Wire, Kai Oceanea, Lexi Romeo, Shadow Grain, Blitzen De Forte

Day two rises to the  arena a mere hours later, and rest is the one thing you do not have at  the moment; sleeping on the cold ground is no easy task, even for the  poorest of you. Yet the arena hasn't treated you too badly so far.  Possible cuts and bruises lie on you, but when Fillius' face appears in  the sky, you know that what you've faced so far is nothing in  comparison.

"Greetings, tributes!"  he says, a small smile showing on his perfectly put-together face. "As  you know from watching past Games, we have a bit of a tradition  involving Day Two that it would be a shame to break. I've spent the last  years training a few pets... they aren't much different from what you'd  see out in the wild, except for their size and their appetite for  living flesh now."

A gigantic bird flies  over your head, threatening and frightening, but you can't quite make  out what it is. Not until Fillius identifies it, anyways.

"Oh, I've always wanted to have vulture mutts around here."

---------------------------------------------------------------------- -

THE TASK:

-Fight the mutt. Simple, but you must fight it and kill it. No running.

-One other tribute must  die in this entry... but there's a twist. They must be an ally. After  all, the odds of you bumping into some other tribute while escaping the  mutt are minimal at best. If you do not have an ally, there are to be no  kills in your entry. You must also send in two ballot deaths. Send in a  list of your kills and ballot deaths.

-Hand in for Saturday, August 3rd at 8 PM EST.

-Six will be up for votes, four will die.

-Word limit: 1100 word

Arena Two: Boss Battle

The arena suddenly goes pitch black, the few tributes that are still awake nervously startle their sleeping companions.

The capitol anthem echos severely.

A dull light oscilates  infront of you. You try to see where you are, but the dim illumination  gives nothing away. The dead slip through the light like aslide show.

Spencer Pierce, Ramie Tucker, Valentina Vita

Audax jubilant face replaces the grim shots of the deceased. He is gnawing absent-mindedly on a Mango, speaking between bites.

"Heyo" he chirps giving  a little wave, "Well I am certain you are all wondering what I have in  store for you. I like to call it Boss Battle, and nothing personal; but I  had to make it a little personal." With a snort he tosses the mango  aside. Oddly enough it almost sounds like it clatters right behind you.

An unbearably bright  light floods the arena. Your eyes burn until they gradually dilate to  it. When you can finally see you don't believe it. A whole maze, every  inch covered in twisted mirrors. Audax standing in front of you.

"In the flesh." He  presents himself extravagantly. You look in terror as you see three  copies of him surrounding you and mimicking the gamemaker's every move.

"Oh those are my mutts, aren't they handsome!"

TASK

_______________

You are stuck in the House of Mirrors, there is no way out, and the clones will continue to attack you until they are all dead.

The clones die with any blow that would kill a human. Then they flicker into nonexistence

Audax and each clone are equipped with high power lasers. They can bounce them of the mirrors. If you are hit by them you die.

You can not kill the real Audax, he has a protective shield around him, but he will leave once his clones die.

You must survive in the  House of Mirrors until all the clones are gone and kill Tributes. They  can die in any way possible as long as your tribute sees them either  dead, or dying.

-Hand in for Saturday, August 3rd at 12 PM EST.

-Six will be up for votes, four will die.
