But first, let us begin with those who did not find  their way to finals, as they also deserve recognition for their hard  work.

Fourth place

Freya Griffith - Amity (Clove_Thenardier)

"Now, my sister has  passed into the world beyond as well. My time on this earth is limited.  But life will go on. Life will always go on." Freya's brother, Sawyer,  said this on her funeral, and it perfectly sums up the young woman.  Although she lost her sister at fifteen, she moved on and went to a  fresh start amongst the Amity. Though she had fallen out with Sawyer,  she still risked her fate to save his. A standout from the start, it is  no surprise to see the young woman in this well-deserved fourth place.

Second Place (joint)

Austin Hawke - Abnegation (TheTinyAngel)

"I know her as my  mother. My loud, selfless, brave mother who made time for me even though  she was busy running an entire city." This was said by Jena, Austin's  daughter and is possibly the most accurate description of her I've read.  Though she was not necessarily a standout from the start, both she and  her sister Aidan blazed to the Quarterfinals, and a sequence of touching  entries carried her to a very credible second place.

Eden Cartwrite - Erudite (MagmaKepner)

"Her generosity was  matched only by her love of books and friends. And I hope her memory  lives on forever. Thank you." A kind woman despite her thirst for  knowledge, it isn't a surprise that Eden was an excellent prospect for  leadership, especially considering the talent of the author who wrote  her. Yet another big competitor since the very beginning, there is no  doubt that this second place is very well-deserved.

First Place

Arin Freestone - Dauntless (TheHyperactiveShadow)

"I met my wife during  initiation. She was a transfer, I was Dauntless-born. The first time we  talked, she almost choked on her muffin; I still tease her about it  now-" Fellow contestant Trey Hull and Arin's blossoming relationship was  one of this competition's most entertaining moments, right up until he  was eliminated. The young woman was a strong competitor and it is with  great pleasure that I declare her the winner of Faction Wattpad: Miss  Arin Freestone!
