Chapter forty

Lucas and Maya were play fighting in their wolf forms. Lucas jumped on top of her and they rolled around on the ground. Maya growled and flipped them over.

She placed her paws over his. She licked his furry cheek making Lucas laugh licking her back.

"I win you loser." She teased as they changed back into their human forms. "That's because I let you." He said as they put their clothes back on.

"Sounds like my boyfriend's a sore loser." She wrapped her arm around his waist. She wiped the dirt off his cheek. "Whatever." He chuckled placing his arm over her shoulders.

They walked back inside. Lucas and Maya went back upstairs to take showers.

"Riles wants to have a double date later with her and Farkle." Maya told him as she washed her hair with her strawberry shampoo.

"That sounds cool where and what time?" Lucas asked cleaning the dirt off his tan body. "Around five at topanga's." She answered him.

They finished washing themselves up. They climbed out of the shower.

Maya decided to wear a black flower dress with brown ankle boots. She put on light makeup. She let her hair fall against her back. Lucas threw on a white button up with dark blue jeans and shoes.

They took Lucas's car. They arrived at Topanga's in about fifteen minutes. Riley and Maya embraced each other while Farkle and Lucas bro hugged before sitting down.

"I've been learning some new spells!" Riley exclaimed. "You almost lit the room on fire." Farkle said making Lucas and Maya laugh.

"I'm learning okay? Thank god I knew the water spell." Riley said with a chuckle.

"How are you fine with all of us being supernatural?" Lucas asked Farkle. "You guys are still the same people you always been. I don't see the problem with being a little different from everyone else." Farkle smiled lovingly at Riley. Riley gave him a chaste kiss on the lips placing her hand over his.

The waiter came by to take their orders. "I'll have a strawberry smoothie with a coffee crumble cake." Lucas said.

"I'll have a strawberry shortcake with a vanilla milkshake please." Maya requested. Farkle and Riley told their orders and the kind lady took their menus and told them she will be back with their orders shortly.

"We have a big test for Mr. Randell in two days are you prepared?" Riley asked Maya. "Yeah there's just one more section I need to get through on the study guide." Maya told her.

"I'm prepared too. This chapter was easy to follow through." Riley said. The waiter came back with their orders. Maya took a bite of the shortcake and moaned in satisfaction.

"Can I see you guys  transform I never got to see you guys do that before." Farkle asked. "Sure after we're done we'll go to the woods." Lucas replied.

After they finished eating they drove to the woods. Farkle and Riley stood by Farkle's car. Lucas and Maya walked to the middle of the field.

Faster than the human eye, Lucas and Maya changed into werewolves. Farkle's eyes widened in amazement and shock.

Maya and Lucas walked over to them. Maya nudged Riley's hand. Riley laughed petting Maya's snow white fur. Farkle stroked Lucas's gray and white fur making Lucas let his tongue out contently.

Lucas and Maya shifted back into human form changing back into their clothes in quick succession.

"That was awesome!" Farkle exclaimed. Lucas and Maya laughed. After they hung out for another hour,  they said goodbye and parted ways.

"I'm still not tired." Maya said when they walked into the house. "Let's go the pool." Lucas suggested. "Sounds fun." She agreed. They changed out of their clothes.

Maya wore her white bikini. Lucas wore his black swim trunks. "You look beautiful." Lucas wrapped his arms around her. Maya leaned up pressing her lips against his. "I know." She teased making him laugh. They opened the gate to the back.

Lucas set their stuff down on the beach chairs besides the pool. Lucas cheered plunging into the pool. Maya giggled following after him.

They swam around as they talked about everything they had on their minds. Maya flung her arms around him as they kissed under the moonlight sky. "I love you so much." He smiled lovingly down at her.

"I love you too." She spoke warmly. Lucas placed his forehead against hers.
