Chapter forty two

After a few more rounds of sex they went into the lake to wash themselves. Maya laughed when Lucas picked her up by the waist. She flew her arms like she was flying. He lifted her back down until they were face to face. She smiled pressing her lips against his in a soft and loving kiss. She wrapped her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck.

They pulled away for breath. Maya flitted her hands through his wet hair. "I never loved anyone as much as I love you." She confessed. "You're the only person that makes me feel the most happiest I ever felt in a century. I never felt more grateful to be loved by you." Lucas declared.

Maya gave him another kiss laying her head on his shoulder. Lucas caressed her back, closing his eyes as they held each other tight. "Let's go home." Lucas said. Maya nodded her head. They climbed out of the lake. They turned back into wolves running together through the woods.

They both howled happily into the night. When they made it home they fell asleep. Lucas woke up first. He felt Maya's naked body tangled up with his. Her arms were around his neck, her breasts were on top of his chest. A leg was draped over his waist, her mouth breathing softly against his neck. He kissed her forehead softly.

He checked his phone to see what time it was. It was 11 am. He put his phone down, setting his arms back around her. He had to pee so he carefully tried to slide out from under her but Maya clutched him tighter.

He lightly snickered. "Baby I got to pee." He gently shook her. "Don't be gone for too long." She loosened her hold on him. "I won't." He kissed her on the lips making her smile. After he finished using the restroom he saw that his girlfriend was now awake. She was on her phone, sitting up against the headboard. His blanket was draped around her legs. Her upper body fully exposed to him. He laid next to her putting his arm over her shoulders. He kissed her on the cheek.

Maya turned her head kissing him on the lips. "Good morning babe." She greeted warmly. "Good morning princess." He gave her another kiss.

"Last night was perfect." She played with fingers. "I wouldn't want to end it any other way." He told her. They went downstairs to get breakfast. Lucas slid on his black shorts.

Maya wore one of his shirts that pooled around her thighs. Maya placed her hair in a messy bun. Lucas opened the freezer taking out two blood bags. He handed her one and they sat down on the couch as they drank.

Lucas caressed her legs as they watched some movie that was playing on the tv. "What should we do today?" Maya asked when she finished her blood bag.

"I was thinking we could go on a trip to the mountains for a couple of days. Just the two of us." Lucas said. "A romantic getaway. Sounds amazing." She smiled.

"We're leaving tonight so make sure you have everything packed." Lucas told her. "I will." She stated.

After they finished breakfast they went upstairs to pack for the trip. They left the mansion around 5 pm. "We'll be back in a few days. Don't tear the house up." Lucas said to his siblings as he closed the trunk.

"No promises." Cole spoke sarcastically. Lucas laughed giving his siblings a hug. The couple said goodbye before driving away.

When they made it to the cabin Maya was in awe. The cabin was just as beautiful as the mansion. A glittering lake was next to it. The pinewoods trees were blowing as a soft wind wafted through.

The stars and moon were closer to them then before. "Wow this place is beautiful." She exclaimed taking out her duffle bag from the trunk. "My siblings and I always went to this place and spent the summers here or if we needed to get away fro awhile." Lucas told her closing the trunk.

Lucas grabbed her hand and took her inside of the warm cabin. A red three seated couch with a brown blanket was in the living room. A fireplace was in the front of it.

Lucas showed her the all around the house. There were about six rooms in the house. They set their stuff down in one of the rooms. The room had a master sized bed.

"I'm loving this place already." She hung her arms around his neck. Lucas grinned placing his hands on her waist. He leaned down pecking her on the lips. "I'm glad you like this place as much as I do."

After they put their clothes away in the drawers they went into the tub to relax. Maya closed her eyes letting Lucas wash her body with his hands. She purred leaning back against him when he lavished his hands through her hair.

When he was done, she washed his hair too. Lucas relaxed, letting her hands do all the work. When he finished rinsing himself they climbed out feeling refreshed.

Lucas wore a gray henley with red and black pajama pants. Maya wore a white thermal with baby blue shorts. Her blonde hair was placed in a bun. Lucas decided to cut some wood from the fireplace outside. Maya went to make some hot chocolate for them.

When Maya was finished she watched from the chair on the porch as Lucas cut the the wood on the stump with an axe. She watched as his toned arms rippled with every movement. She couldn't deny how hot he looked chopping down the wood.

"Take it off!" She yelled in a playful tone. Lucas smirked pulling his shirt off causing Maya to laugh. He threw it at her making Maya almost spill her hot chocolate from laughing so hard.

"Come get your hot chocolate before it gets cold you dork." She smiled. Maya stood up giving him his mug. "Thank you gorgeous." He kissed her on the lips. He sat down on the chair pulling her on his lap.
