"I killed Charlie." Maya spoke quietly. "No it was me. She was just covering for me." Maya shot him a confused look.

"I did it. I killed Charlie." Lucas lied through his teeth. "Now let her go." Lucas told them. "You think I'm going to let you get your dying wish. No I'm going to torture you while your girl watches." The guy pulled Lucas to a chair.

"Lucas please don't do this. Let him go please!" Maya pleaded with tears spilling down her face. "Silence her will you Angela?" The guy asked. The girl placed a gag around her mouth so she couldn't talk any longer.

Maya could only cry as she watched the guy punch Lucas in the face over and over. Harsh blows were delivered to his face. Large amounts of blood spilled out of his nose and mouth. Lucas's nose was fully broken and he had a busted lip. A purple ring was forming around his left eye.

Lucas was completely dazed. He felt the world become dizzy and off balance. It took him a few moments to focus on his surroundings. "I-is that all you got?" Lucas coughed out more blood from his mouth.

"Not before I finish you off." The guy pulled out a wooden stake with an evil smirk on his face. Lucas knew this was the end. He laid his eyes on his girlfriend who was sobbing trying to get out of the chains but to no avail.

"M-Maya I love you." Lucas confessed before the man plunged the stake deep in his heart. Maya's muffled screams was all you heard in the room. Maya watched in horror as Lucas's body turned withered and gray. His green eyes that were once full of life were now dull and lifeless. Maya felt an excruciating pain in her chest. The love of her life was gone.

She felt like she was drowning in water and she couldn't escape. Nothing in the world mattered anymore. All she felt was emptiness. This was all her fault.
