"I will not marry someone I've never met," Jungkook states sternly but respectively, to the king.

"Son, you have studied so hard to become a wise and fit ruler for Busan," King Jeon responds with his calm voice. "I want nothing more than to see my crown on your head."

"But a king must have a queen," he says with certainty in his voice.

"I understand that Father," Jungkook says in a tired voice. "But if I marry, it will be for love. I can't marry someone I know nothing about."

"I'm sorry you are unhappy about this son," the Queen says, taking her son's hand. "Princess Lisa is a lovely girl, I'm sure you'll like her once you meet her. I expect you to give her proper greetings like the gentleman you are."

Jungkook sighs, "I don't care, I'm not going to marry her."

And with that, he left the dining room, off to his gym most likely to punch his frustration out.

Princess Lisa sighed as she peered through her car's window to gaze at the clear blue sky. She had mixed feelings about this soon to be husband of hers. No, she was not appeased at the thought of marrying a prince she knew not much about. But indeed did she wish to claim her throne.

Lisa had spent all her life devouring every book in the library on becoming a fair and wise Queen for her people. It was her great dream to become queen and help her people.

Now, Lisa had to marry soon to be crowned queen. For her poor father was sick in bed and it was well known he didn't have much time left to live. She had already lost her mother all those years ago and now her dear beloved father was leaving too.

The young princess only wished she had shown how much she cared. But she spent all her time studying that she barely talked too much of anyone, even her family. She regretted it even more now, for she felt all alone. She should've been more considerate. Maybe Eunji would still be here.

(Last month)

"Where are you going?" Lisa asked entering Eunji's room, seeing that she was packing her belongings into a suitcase.

"Somewhere," Eunji simply replied. Her eyes were too focused on what she was doing to look at her.

"You can't just leave Eunji!" Lisa exclaimed. She didn't understand how her sister could act so careless.

"Why can't I?" Eunji's voice fills with anger. She only then dared to look at her sister. Lisa could see the flicker of both anger and exhaust in her eyes.

Lisa's hands flattened against her skirt in an effort to remain calm. Future queens were not quick to anger.

"Little sister, there are responsibilities you are supposed to fulfill. You cannot just run away from them."

Eunji glared so hard at the eldest's that she could've burned a hole through her eyes.

Lisa ignored them and calmly continued, "You're a princess, Eunji. You are expected to act like one! You cannot run away from your problems like...like a coward."

That was the last straw for Eunji. She slammed her suitcase shut with finality.

"How can you be so insensitive, Unnie?" Eunji says, her voice trembled. "Can't you see how unhappy I am here?"

Lisa opened her mouth to say something but found she had no response.

"I am a prisoner in my own home," Eunji stated. "I am tired of being expected to be someone I'm not! I want to follow my dreams and....I can't do that here."
