"Jungkook!" She cries, bursting into the hospital room.

There she saw on the hospital bed, him lying peacefully with his eyes sealed shut. The heart rate monitor next to him stopped beeping.

Not believing what she was seeing, she slowly walks over to him and touches his hand. It was cold and limp.

"Jungkook jebal," She chokes down a sob. She collapsed beside him, clutching his cold hand.

He was gone. There was nothing more to it, he was just gone. Jungkook was gone and she would never see him again.

She cries into his shirt, "I wasn't ready to let you go."

"I didn't even get to say goodbye."

"Jagi?" She hears her name called by his voice.

Her eyes snap open and only then does she realize that she's not in a hospital room. She's in her bedroom. Jungkook is right next to her, sitting up in bed looking at her with a sleepy concern.

Jungkook gently rubs circles in her back, "You were crying. Did you have a bad dream?"

She dared to look at him, seeing his big brown eyes full of worry. She raised her hand to lightly touch his cheek. She had to see if he was real or not.

"Jungkook..."

He gently wipes a tear from her face with his thumb, "Do you want to talk about it?"

"I...I lost you," She says shakily. She covered her eyes with her hands, trying not to cry.

Fully awake now, Jungkook lightly pulls her into his warm embrace. He pressed a kiss against her temple, "It must've been scary, I know. But I'm right here Jagi, safe and sound."

She didn't say anything, feeling comforted by the sound of his rhythmic heartbeat.

"You've been having nightmares a lot lately," Jungkook says quietly. "Is everything okay, Eunji?"

She thinks back to this month and how hard it was to get through. Too many things happened, too much anxiety flooded her brain, and everything left her head spinning for hours.

"I don't know anymore," She admits.

She hated showing emotion to others. Even less, admitting that she wasn't okay. Expressing her feelings had always been a problem and Jungkook knew that better than everyone. But at this point, she was too tired to care. She just wanted Jungkook with her.

Slightly raising her head to meet his gaze. She must've looked so broken in Jungkook's eyes. He was probably stressed with his only problems, but he didn't mind. He loved her and was willing to do anything to make her happy and feel loved.

"Can you...can you just hold me like this?" She asks, her voice wavered. "Jebal."

Jungkook smiles and presses a small kiss on her lips, "Of course. I'm always here if you need me."

She nods and rests her head on his chest, "Gomawo. S-saranghae."

"Nado. Saranghae, Jagiya," He whispers, wrapping his arms around her waist.

She was so in love with this man. And she didn't even know how crazy he was for her. Slowly, her eyes became heavy, falling asleep soon after feeling safe and secure in Jungkook's strong arms.
