Accept | Werewolf AU pt. 2

"What the-" words trailed out of Eunji's mouth. She wondered if she was still dreaming.

"Wait please don't freak out!" He said. "I-I'm the wolf from yesterday."

Eunji blinked in confusion. The wolf was a human? How was that even possible?

"Who are you?" Eunji asked, ready to call the police any second now.

The man sat up. She looks away realizing that he wasn't wearing any clothes. Heat rose to her cheeks. The man realizing this too blushes and covers his upper torso with a blanket.

"I-I'm Jeon Jungkook," He said. "I'm sorry for startling you. I'm... I'm a werewolf."

"Werewolf?" Eunji questioned. She didn't even know such a thing existed. There were only fictional tales about them. Was this man trying to trick her?

Jungkook nodded, "Yes. I'm usually a human most of the time, but I transform into a wolf when there's a full moon."

"Oh that makes sense," Eunji said, mostly to herself. She had forgotten that yesterday did indeed have a full moon. "But how did you get into that trap?"

Jungkook dropped his head, "I was with my brothers...but then hunters came. I ran away, but they took away my brothers. When I came back for them, I accidentally stepped into a trap. I thought I was going to be taken away too."

Eunji glanced down to his hand that wore the bandages that she had wrapped the other night. His brothers were captured? Sympathy began to fill her.

"I-I'm so sorry," Eunji said.

Jungkook shrugged, "It wasn't your fault. Thank you for saving me though. I probably would've died if it weren't for you."

"O-oh it was nothing," Eunji found herself blushing. "So Jungkook...do you live here in the city?"

Jungkook shook his head, "No. My brothers and I lived more in the countryside. I don't really have a home to go back to right now, though. I-I don't know where they are or if they're hurt."

"Well, I guess you could stay with me for a while. I-I'll help you find your brothers again," Eunji said. She felt so bad for Jungkook. His family was gone, and he was all alone now. Knowing people today, they would only ignore him.

As she got a better look at him, Jungkook was really handsome. He had short black hair, big brown eyes and his figure seemed to be fairly muscular. Any girl would fall for him at one glance.

Jungkook bowed his head, "Thank you so much, I really owe you one. I forgot to get your name?"

"Oh I'm Eunji. Kim Eunji," She replied, feeling embarrassed for not telling him her name until now.

Jungkook smiled, "Kim Eunji, your name is pretty."

"O-oh I wouldn't say that," Eunji said shyly, nervously brushing her hair out of her face. "By the way, you should get some clothes on. I think I might have some that my brother left a while ago."

Remembering that he indeed wasn't wearing anything, Jungkook seemed embarrassed, "Haha, yeah that would be great, thank you."

Kim Eunji wasn't someone who made friends easily. She was surprised by how close she's gotten with Jungkook this past month. He would tell her about his hometown and how he grew up. The more she got to know him, the more she could point out his wolf-like traits. But it wasn't something that bothered her.

She worked her hardest to search for Jungkook's brothers. He had six of them, and he was the youngest out of the seven. Jungkook told her how much they took care of him when he was a baby. It only made her want to find them even more.
