Cuddles

It was mid afternoon when Jungkook had just come back from his daily workout. After showering, he walked out into the living room now in fresh clean sweats and a towel around his shoulder for his slightly damp hair.

He sighed when he saw his girlfriend typing expeditiously on her laptop. She had been working on the same essay for the past three days, not taking time to sleep or eat. At first Jungkook didn't say anything, knowing well Eunji hated procrastinating and being procrastinated by things around her. When she received an assignment, she focused her full attention on whatever it was and forgot about her own well being until she was satisfied with her work.

But his heart fell when he saw the dark circles under eyes becoming more prominent and how her hair was slightly messy which was almost always brushed and styled sensibly. That was it for Jungkook, and he was finally going to do something about this.

Walking over to the corner of the couch where Eunji sat, Jungkook's eyes peek above the laptop screen. Eunji met his gaze with a smile that tried to hide her stress.

"Kookie, what are you doing?" She asked softly.

Jungkook smiled back, "I have a wish I want you to grant."

"And what is your wish?" Eunji asked, anxiously. She loved Jungkook to death, but right now she really needed to concentrate.

Jungkook gently lifted the laptop out of her hands, "I want you to take a break from this and get back to it later. Have you slept at all?"

"Jungkook-ah, I have to get this done. I promise to get some sleep right after I finish," Eunji tried to take her laptop back. But Jungkook held it out of her reach.

"Nope! You're taking a break right now, young lady," Jungkook said affirmatively. He put the laptop on the coffee table and scooped Eunji up in his arms, then plopped down on the couch.

"But-" Eunji tried to argue.

Jungkook placed a finger on her lips, "No buts, we're going to cuddle now."

Eunji sighed in frustration, realizing that Jungkook wasn't going to let her go. There was no point in even trying to get out of his grasp, because he was stronger than her.

Jungkook positioned himself behind her and wrapped his arms around her stomach, hugging her intimately. Before Eunji could resist, she realized that she couldn't and rested her back against his stomach in surrender. She giggled when Jungkook nestled his nose in her hair. He then switches to stroking his fingers through her long brown hair, while Eunji rested her head against his chest. She could hear the calming rhythm of his heart beat. She closed her eyes and felt her body relax for the first time in a while.

"See don't you feel better now?" Jungkook asked, pressing a kiss against her forehead.

Eunji lightly nodded, "You were right. I'm so lucky to have you, Jungkook."

"Ani. It's me who is the lucky one," Jungkook responded.

Then he kissed her softly on the lips and she kissed back. There was little passion and hunger in the kiss, but it was full of love and gentleness. Occasionally they would break away for a few seconds and kiss again. After doing so, they returned to happily cuddling in each other's arms.

One of the nicest feelings was to be wrapped in your lovers arms.
