His Remedy

"Jagiii" Jungkook whines.

Eunji rolls her eyes and places the cool wet cloth on his burning head, "Mwo? Still upset at me for making you stay in bed?"

"You know I have a big concert coming up, I can't miss practice!" Jungkook says in frustration.

Eunji frowns, knowing how much Jungkook hated missing practice. She hated to keep him from going, but the poor boy had been coughing and sniffling all night. Going to practice with little energy would have stubbed his chances of recovering fast.

"Jungkookie, you and I both know that you would have regretted practicing today if you went," Eunji says calmly. "And you don't want to get your members sick do you?"

He pouts, knowing that Eunji knew better. The truth was, he was relieved that Eunji refused to let him leave. But him being the stubborn maknae he was, felt the impulse to rebel against his body's wishes.

"What about you? Won't you get sick if you stay here with me?"

"Who else is going to take care of you?" Eunji says, continuing to gently press the cool cloth on his head. "If I get sick, so be it. Now stop talking and get some rest please."

"Will you sleep with me?" Jungkook asked in a small cute voice that Eunji always fell for.

She placed the cloth on the nightstand and crawled onto the bed to lay beside him in his arms. He smiles to himself, loving the feeling of holding his jagiya securely in his arms.

"Gomawo Jagiya," he presses a kiss against her temple. "You're my remedy."
