*I recommend listening to Spring Day while reading this!

"It's so hard to say goodbye," She said, holding his hand to her cheek.

His hand brushed a piece of loose hair behind her ear, "I know. It's hard for me too."

In an effort to cheer up the girl, Jungkook looked up at the tree with lovely cherry blossoms above him.

"Eunji-yah, let's meet again under this cherry blossom tree in ten years," He told her. "By then I'll surely be good enough for you."

She glanced up at the pink flowers on their branches. She didn't want him to leave. She wanted to hug him forever and feel safe in his arms. But she couldn't be selfish at a time like this could she?

"Eunji?"

"Promise me?" She asked him, there were no tears in her eyes. But her lips were trembling, signaling that at any moment she could burst into tears.

Jungkook smiled and held up his pinky finger, "I promise."

Their pinky fingers interlaced and their thumbs pressed against each other, sealing the agreement. After doing so, Jungkook pressed one last kiss on her lips.

"We will meet again, Eunji-yah," He reassured her. "Right here, you'll be there?"

She smiled in hopes to comfort him, knowing that this wasn't easy for him either. He was so much stronger than she.

"I wouldn't miss it for the world."

[Ten Years Later]

Feeling quite unsure, she walked to the park. She hadn't been here in so long. Squinting her eyes and there it was. The same old cherry blossom tree where she had lost her first love. She could've sworn that the blossoms' beauty only intensified since she last came here.

She saw a man standing under the tree, admiring the view. Tears began to fill her eyes as she walked closer to the place she was supposed to come to. Then she saw the man turn around and there she saw him.

Goodness, how much he grew. He was no longer the fifteen year old Jungkook that she once knew. His once skinny figure was replaced with a muscular body, and he was a lot taller than before. But there were still those doe brown eyes that only had eyes on her.

Eunji began to feel self conscious. Not much has changed about her, at least that's what she thought. What if he didn't think she was pretty anymore? What if he's not interested in her anymore? Oh she would be so heart broken if her thoughts were to be true.

But then he smiled at her. It was the same bunny-like smile that she fell in love with the first time she saw it. All of her worries disappeared, and she neared closer to him.

"Annyeong Eunji-yah," He spoke. His voice was deeper than before and more masculine "I see you've kept your promise."

Now that she finished walking up to him, Eunji found herself smiling at the boy.

"I see you have too," She said, then looks up at the cherry blossoms. "I think...the tree is even more beautiful than before."

A smirk spread across his face, "So are you."

"You've become cheesy now, haven't you?" She teased.

He laughed, but Eunji could see the pink on his cheeks.

"I missed you," He said, in a more serious tone. His eyes focused on hers.

She sighed, wondering if this moment was real or not, "I missed you too...so much."

"How have you been doing-"

"Screw it, just kiss me already," She interrupted, no longer feeling patient. She knew that was enough small talk for the both of them.

He chuckled, "Gladly."

Resting his hand on her head, he pulled her lips into his. The kiss was slow and very romantic. Jungkook had waited ten years to kiss his first love, and he was grateful that he waited. He was yearning for her touch, and kissed her so longingly. He never wanted to let her go again. Eunji felt like her legs would give out, by the euphoric feeling he gave her. She felt her hands wrap around his neck as she closed her eyes and kissed back.

After ten years, they felt like they were falling for each other all over again. Under this cherry blossom tree was where everything ended. Under this cherry blossom tree was also where everything started once again.

Nothing could separate them now.
