It was a cold day in Seoul. But that didn't stop the chaos of people rushing to buy presents for Christmas which was three days away. In the midst of it were Jungkook and Eunji, walking down the streets hand in hand.

"You're coming over for Christmas, right?" Eunji asked as they walked past the shops. They had decided on a simple date, window shopping.

Jungkook nodded, "Of course, how could I miss your cooking?"

Eunji chuckled and squeezed his hand. A gasp left her mouth when her eyes fell on something in one of the shops. There were these beautiful sparkly silver long earrings.

"Wah, those earrings are so pretty," She awed, pointing to them for Jungkook to see.

Jungkook leaned closer to look, "Do you like them?"

"Yeah, but I could never afford them," Eunji sighed. Those earrings were probably worth more than her monthly salary.

She lightly tugged on his hand, "Come on, let's go see the other shops."

Jungkook followed and admired the holiday decorations stores had put up. He couldn't help but stop when he spotted the new video game he had been wanting.

"Is that the new Overwatch game?" Eunji asked.

Jungkook nodded sadly, "Yeah, it's been out for a while now."

As much as he would love to own that video game, he knew he didn't have enough money to buy it. Besides, he was fortunate enough to have the original version. That would have to be enough for him.

"Let's go back to my place," Jungkook said, walking away from the shop. "Should I make hot cocoa?"

"Mm sounds good," Eunji nodded in agreement. So the young couple left the shopping center, to continue their date indoors.

"What did you guys get your boyfriend's for Christmas?" Minji, one of Eunji's friends asked.

Jia took out her phone and showed the picture to her friends, "I got Minho this new watch, it's the best brand."

"I bought mine the new Samsung galaxy," Hyesun gloated.

"What did you get Jungkook, Eunji-yah?" Minji asked Eunji who had stayed quiet while the others talked.

"O-oh I wrote him a song," She said.

"Psh a song," Hyesun snorted. "You're joking, right?"

"What do you mean?" Eunji instantly frowned.

She had put in a lot of work into her song for the past month. She spent nights pouring her heart to make the lyrics perfect and strumming her guitar to get the perfect melody. It was something she wanted to put her all in because it was for someone she loved so much.

Jia put her hand on Eunji's shoulder, "C'mon Eunji-yah, what kind of gift is that?"

"Well I worked really hard on it-" Eunji tried to say.

Minji shook her head in disapproval, "Guys don't like cheap presents like songs, Eunji-yah. You should get him something more expensive."

Expensive? Eunji bit her lip, knowing she could barely afford anything with her budget. No matter how hard she worked at her part-time jobs at cafes and convenience stores, she only managed to make enough money to pay her bills.

"Do you really think so?" Eunji asked. Her friends nodded in response.

"Of course," Jia said with confidence. "We know best."
