*Trigger Warning. This subject includes self harm so don't read if you are not comfortable

You've never been more excited in your entire life. You didn't even believe it at first when you got the call saying you were one of the chosen to go to Bangtan's fansign. You woke up early in the morning to wash up. You applied light natural makeup and wore a white top with your favorite black cardigan that concealed your secret.

It wasn't like you had a terrible life. You knew that other people had it worse than you. Your mom was often "sick" and was never really there for you in your life. Like she was there but she wasn't. Your dad always worked so hard, making you feel guilty. But you didn't start being depressed until you naively fell for a boy who broke your heart. During that same time, your best friend left you for her new friends.

Whenever your depression hit you the most, you'd cut. Cutting was not something you were proud of, but it was what helped. To you, the physical pain felt much better than the emotional pain. The awful aching pain in your heart that you resented so much.

The only thing that was capable of making you smile was Bangtan Sonyeondan. You started listening when Skool Luv Affair came out. Despite how many times your parents said you were overly obsessed, BTS was what got you through your hardest times. In return, you promised to be a supportive, loyal and loving fan with all your heart. It was the least you could do after all.

Your bias was Jeon Jungkook of course. You completely fell for those big dark chocolate brown eyes, his beautiful sweet-toned voice and that innocent bunny smile of his. Whenever you listened to Jungkook sing, all your dark feelings melted and you were happy.

So when you were told that you would be able to meet the people who have gotten you through so much, you were ecstatic. You could not describe how much this opportunity meant to you. You were in line right now, about to see them. You placed your hand on your heart, feeling it beat ten times faster than usual.

As you waited in line, you stood up on your tip-toes (since you were so short lol) to get a glimpse of what was going on. Then you saw him, Jeon Jungkook sitting at the end of the table. He looked even more handsome in person. Jungkook looked among the crowd and met eyes with you. He flashed you a cute smile, but you didn't believe it. He wasn't looking at me, right? There's no way!

You enjoyed getting to talk to all the members. They were all so kind and humble just as you had known them. The only member you haven't met yet was Jungkook, and you were just about to meet him right now.

"Annyeong! What's your name?" Jungkook asks you. He had been waiting all this time to meet the girl that caught his eye in the crowd. Jungkook wasn't sure what it was, but something about you attracted him.

"Um...I-I'm Kim Eunji," You say meekly.

"Aw, your so shy," Jungkook gushed. Cute.

You blushed and out of habit brushed your hair behind your ear. You didn't think of much of it until you felt your sleeve slip, revealing your fresh cuts from this morning. You didn't even notice at first. But Jungkook did. His smile dropped when he saw.

"Your...your wrists..." He says with concern filling his voice.

No.  Your face went pale and you quickly pulled your sleeve down. But Jungkook placed his hand on yours, "Can I see please?"

You nervously shake your head, "I-I'm sorry Jungkook I don't think you-"

"Jebal?" Jungkook asked almost desperately.

You closed your eyes and took a deep breath before giving in. Jungkook gently lifted your sleeve back up and saw all the red cuts scattered across your lower arm. Tears filled his eyes, which made tears build up in yours too.

"Why...why do you do this to yourself?" Jungkook asks, trying to hold his voice.

You bite your lip, "Because...because I'm not good at handling pain."

Jungkook gently rubbed his fingers across your scars. His touch was so soft and soothing

"Look, I'm not really good with this stuff but you shouldn't be doing this to yourself. Seeing ARMYs hurting themselves...it's just..." Jungkook told you, not really knowing what to say. "You're so young and you have so much to live for."

Tears leaked out of your eyes, "Mianhae for worrying you but I don't think I can stop, I'm so stupid and weak..."

Then Jungkook's deep brown eyes looked into your eyes, "Yes you can. I don't know you (Y/n), but I think I want to. I'm sure you're a beautiful person and I don't like seeing such a pretty girl as you cry."

He reached his hand over to wipe your tears. You shakily breathed but smiled, "Th-thank you Jungkook. That means a lot to me."

Jungkook smiled back, "You're not alone. If you're ever feeling like you're not good enough, know that there are people like me who really care about you. So please don't do this anymore."

You nodded, "I'll get better for you, Jungkook."

"Good," he says, scribbling something down on a piece of paper. He quickly folds it and puts it into your hand. "Open this after you leave."

"Ne. It was nice meeting you Jungkook. Thank you, I really mean it," You say, your voice wavering.

"It was nice meeting you too Eunji-yah. I hope we can meet again," he gave you a wink.

You left the place, feeling so very happy. Jungkook had been the first person to ever say something like that to you. It touched your heart. When you got home you opened the piece of paper he gave you.
