Not much time has passed since Eunji and Jungkook have found each other. It wasn't an easy transition for either of them. Jungkook had to talk with his managers about the situation and fortunately they supported it but said it would be best to keep things private. Eunji had no problem with that, the last thing she wanted was for people to attack her for being soulmates with their beloved idol.

Eunji did manage to get a job at the company. PD-Nim was very impressed with her work and hired her on the spot, saying she has a gift for music. She was given her own studio where she could produce music to her heart's content. As for the members, they've been the most supportive. They were all so kind to her and welcomed her with open arms.

Jungkook and Eunji were getting to know each other every day, only seeming to grow a stronger captivation for one another. Eunji was surprised herself with how close she had gotten to him in a short amount of time. She had made a habit of not trusting people and it took a long time for her to warm up to a person. But with Jungkook, he listened to what she had to say and never pried her to talk when she didn't want to. He made her feel comfortable, and he had to be the sweetest guy she's ever encountered.

Now that she had a real job, she used all her money saved from part-time jobs and bought a small apartment for herself. Jungkook had said that she could move in with him, but she didn't want to be a burden for him and his members. Besides, all she needed was a place to sleep at night. She spent most of her time in the studio, sometimes not even going home.

Her mom was outraged with her moving, calling her ungrateful for leaving her parents and that she would only make life miserable for herself. Eunji didn't bother to contact her parents since she left.

Eunji finally decided to emerge from her shell and went to her high school reunion which was at one of her former classmate's restaurants. She wouldn't have come if Mi Eun hadn't kept pestering her about going this time.

"I'm surprised to see you came Kim Eunji," Sun Mi said, sipping her drink. "You never come to our reunions."

Eunji knew exactly what Sun Mi was doing and she hated it. Sun Mi's love of boasting and undermining people hasn't changed at all since high school. She got the top scores on all the exams, and was labeled as one of the popular kids. After high school, she went to a medical university and then got a job as an orthodontist. Now that she found her soulmate, she has even more to brag about how much better she was than everyone.

"Well I've been busy so..." Eunji replied quietly.

Ae Cha smirked, "Busy with what? Those part time jobs?"

Ae Cha was the first one to find her soulmate in high school. To be honest, Eunji found her the most annoying. Always gushing about her soulmate and how wonderfully he treated her. It made her want to gag every time.

"No," Eunji said bluntly. "I recently signed with a company as a music producer."

"Jinja? Kim Eunji has an actual job now?" Min Jun slurred his words after he gulped another shot of soju. They had already been here for an hour and the man was already half drunk.

"Guys..." Mi Eun tried to stop the growing tension, but her efforts weren't strong.

Eunji clenched her fist under the table, hoping her anger would not get the best of her today. Why did she even come here?

"I think everyone here has found their soulmates, huh?" Hee Young said, her eyes then fell on Eunji. She pouted making it seem as if she felt bad for the girl. "Well except for Eunji."

Eunji smirked. These people were really testing her limits huh?

Sun Mi giggled, "Hey it's okay guys. Maybe she's just meant to be without a soulmate."
