The apartment was filled with the glorious aroma of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. Her best friend, Seojin, had immediately come over to her best friend's house once Eunji had told her she was baking. Eunji took out the fresh batch and placed them on the counter. Seojin smiled and reached to grab one, but Eunji slapped her hand away.

"Yah you have to let them cool first!"

Seojin whined, "But they smell so good!"

"You'll just have to wait if you don't want to burn yourself," Eunji said, not falling for her friend's puppy eyes.

Seojin pouted, "Aish fine."

After a few impatient minutes, Eunji finally got a icing spatula and used it to scrape the cookies into a container. She made sure to put two on a plate for Seojin who's eyes brightened at the sight.

"So how are things going with Jungkook?" Seojin asked as she took a bite of the freshly baked cookie.

Eunji smiled at her friend who seemed to be enjoying her sweet treat, "We're good, thanks for asking."

"It must be hard since he's always so busy with work, right?" Seojin said, sighing as if she was the one in the relationship.

Eunji shrugged, "It's not that bad."

"I don't know how you do it Eunji-yah," Seojin shook her head. "I can't imagine having a boyfriend who I don't even get to see."

Eunji untied the apron around her neck and tied it around the fridge handle.

"Jungkook really loves his job and I want to support him," Eunji explained shortly. "If that means that we don't get to see each other often, it's okay."

Seojin wiped her mouth with a napkin after finishing the cookie, "How long have you guys been dating now?"

"98 days," Eunji answered without hesitation.

Seojin's eyes widened, "Really? That means you've almost been dating for almost 100 days now!"

"I know," Eunji said, smiling to herself. She had never been in a relationship this long. Though she was happy that she and Jungkook have been dating for almost 100 days, she wasn't as excited as she thought she would be.

"Well, aren't you going to do anything?" Seojin asked, wanting to know if her friend had any romantic plans for that day.

Eunji shook her head, "No. It's just 100 days. We don't need to do anything."

"I know you Kim Eunji and I know that anniversary means a lot to you," Seojin said. "How can you not do anything?"

Eunji sighed, "It's just that Jungkook is so busy, and he's still promoting his album. I don't want to bother him with a silly anniversary. He probably won't remember anyway."

"Are you sure you're okay with that?" Seojin asked, feeling bad for her friend.

"Perfectly fine," Eunji reassured her friend with a smile. "I don't need some big celebration to know that he cares about me."

She was lying. Of course she was lying. Even though she wouldn't admit it, deep down she hoped that Jungkook would remember their anniversary. She remembered marking the date on her calendar the first day he had asked her out. She used to always imagined how wonderful it would be to celebrate. But who was she to be selfish when Jungkook's schedule was always jam packed? His music was important to him and she would hate to take that away from him. She knew what she was getting into when she had said yes to being his girlfriend and she had to accept it.

"Is something bothering you JK?" Jin sat down next to the boy who was guzzling down his water bottle.
