• Maddi POV •

I woke up and felt like I had a huge hangover. My head was pounding and I woke up to the sound of snoring. Tyler snores, but her snores were soft and cute to be honest, but this snoring was manly and hideous.

I looked under my body to see if Carter had stayed the night, he wasn't there. Which I was hopeful for. I'll never do anything with him. But I was kind of phsyced that I could hear his snores, I was probably going crazy.

Or I just missed his presence and felt like he was here, but isn't.

I ignored my thoughts, which were inaccurate, and got up to get an advil. I felt my foot impact with a solid surface and I tripped and fell on my face. I screamed as I went down and so did what I tripped over.

I sat up and examined the wide eyed body that belonged to Carter causing me to let out another scream. He kind of scared the living shit out of me. "Why did you kick me?" he fussed. I tried to hold in my laugh. "I am really sorry, I didn't mean to," I exclaimed. He shook his head and gave me a lop sided smile, which I used to adore.

He stood up then helped me up also. I thanked his generosity and we moved to the kitchen for breakfast. Tyler was sitting on the couch sipping something from a mug, probably coffee or tea.

"What were y'all doing last night?" she questioned. "What's in the mug?" I asked changing the subject, "Tea." she shrugged. "You sip that tea because it's none of yo business." Carter teased her. They both started laughing while I stood there utterly confused. "I forgot Maddi doesn't understand these things, she doesn't look on digital screening," Tyler said covering the side of her mouth so only Carter could see, but I could still hear her.

I grabbed a pillow from the couch in front of Carter and I and threw it at her. It hit her in the head and her hair got messed up, which I noticed was straightened today.

She made a mocking face before getting up. "I didn't get any sleep by the way," she told us. She glared at Carter. "Mr. Snore pants, Mr. Snore so damn loud everyone hears you and can't get any sleep, Mr. Even though I'm sleeping in the room with someone I love I am gonna snore so she doesn't get any sleep." she teased him. I laughed slightly and he chuckled.

"Maddi loves my snoring." He told her. I didn't love it, but I am used to ignoring the sound of it while trying to sleep. This morning was just unexpected.

"You should go talk to Sasha today," Tyler told me, cutting on the water to the kitchen sink. I scoffed, "I can't believe she wouldn't tell me something like that," I said not even believing that. Sasha is a really sweet girl, and that's why I am so confused on this topic.

"Which is why you should go talk to her. Is it just me or do you think her dad was fine?" Tyler said, fangirling. Carter coughed awkwardly. "Should I leave?" He asked. No stay here and make endless love with me all night.

"Yeah, I have to go somewhere anyways." I lied. Carter smiled and hugged me shyly. I hugged him back very awkwardly, then I walked him out. "I swear he is in love with you," Tyler said. I sighed, "Thing's are kind of always complicated for us though." I said.

"We should do something today," Tyler changed the subject. I nodded, "I need to go see Sadie and Sawyer." I said.

We went to our rooms and got dressed. When we came out I wanted to punch myself in the stomach. Tyler looked so pretty, she is like one of those girls that would make someone insecure.

I walked inside of Sadie's house with Tyler following. Sawyer and Sadie were both on their phones and didn't even notice we were here. "Hellooo." I sung. They looked up and Sawyer got up and hugged me. "I haven't seen you in forever!" I told her. She laughed and sat back down, then got up before excusing herself to the restroom quickly.
