"Hello there, Jeric." those are the first words that came out of Nol's mouth when we barged inside Jeric's room. Kakalapag niya pa lang ng kanyang bag sa sofa at gulat na napatingin sa amin.

"N-Nol?!"

"Yes," Nol answered. Dumapo naman ang tingin nito sa akin. "K-Keena..."

I nodded and faked a smile. "So, how are you? Bakit ka umalis ng Holmes? Were you trying to escape or you're just being rebellious? Or you have unfinished business outside Holmes' that is why you left?"

Nagsalubong naman ang mga kilay ni Jeric. "Ano bang sinasabi mo? Yes, umalis ako ng Holmes' kasi may 'unfinished business' ako rito and I am not obligated to tell you that 'business' because it's too personal."

"Hey, you sound so defensive! I was just asking!" nagpeke ako ng tawa.

He remained stiff. "Hmm," Nol crossed his arms and looked at the whole place.

Halatang kinabahan naman itong si Jeric. Maybe because he's hiding something here and I think, I know what it is.

"Is this your new home? Pretty small but it's okay."

"Teka, ano bang kailangan niyo? Paano niyo nalamang dito ako nakatira?" he even pointed us.

"We were visiting a friend but we saw you here so we've decided to at least say hello." mabilis kong sagot. "Hindi mo ba kami papaupuin o bibigyan man lang ng meryenda?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Wala akong maihahanda sa inyo. I only eat canned goods and instant noodles." he answered.

"Oh, that's unhealthy." umarte pa akong concerned. Si Nol naman ay pinagsalubungan lang ako ng kilay.

Atat na atat na akong makakuha ng impormasyon. I want to know whom he works with. I want to know more about the purple diamond drug.

“By any chance, do you know anything about a purple drug?” deretsong tanong ni Nol. Muling bumukas sa mukha ni Jeric ang gulat.

“A-Ano?”

“Purple diamond converted into a drug.”

I saw him gulped. “Come with us,” sabi ko.

“B-Bakit?”

“Isnʼt it obvious? We will interrogate you.” sagot ko sa kanya.

“Hindi ako sasama!”

“You canʼt do anything but to come with us. Wala kaming gagawin na masama saʼyo. You just have to tell us everything that you know.” humalukipkip si Nol.

Jeric shook his head multiple times. “No, no...”

Pumikit ako at huminga ng malalim bago muling magmulat ng mga mata. “I guess, I have to do it.” sabi ko at nilingon si Nol na tumingin lang din pabalik sa akin.

Lumapit ako kay Jeric na agad namang umiwas. “Relax,” sabi ko. He didnʼt noticed Nol dahil sa akin nakatuon ang pansin niya. Nol grabbed both of his arms. Ngumiwi si Jeric dahil sa lakas ng pagkakahila ni Nol. I quickly took out my stun pen and held Jericʼs neck. As soon as the pen touched his nape, he lost consciousness.
