After we had walked through the Neverland woods for about half an hour, we came to an opening. It looked like nothing special at all just a clearing.

"What's special about this place then?", I asked with curiosity and confusion.

"Wait a second and they'll come", he said in a quiet voice.

What was he talking about? I saw nothing but woods. Then, out of nowhere a neon blue butterfly appeared. It flew onto a piece of mouldy bark, belonging to a log in the clearing.

It's colour was amazing, I've never seen anything like it before. When I was in the orphanage it was extremely rare that I would see a butterfly or any animals for that matter.

"Hello beautiful", I spook softly to the butterfly. Bewitched by its beauty, I outstretched my hand to touch it. As I expected, it flew away.

As I looked up to it's position, it revealed thousands more but butterflies in the tree tops. What was once regular tree trunks, were now covered in these gorgeous butterflies.

A few of them started to fly towards me and as I outstretched both my hands they flew around them. I laughed with enjoyment as I looked over at Thomas who was smiling at me as well as having butterflies around him as well.

"This is amazing", I say to him with happiness.

He walked closer to my position and said with a smile, "I knew you would like it".

"Who knew Neverland would have such beautiful creatures", I say with astonishment.

"Pan may be the leader of this island but not everything is as dark as he seems to be. He's really not that bad you know, he just loves having control and when he doesn't have it, he becomes frustrated and violent", he said still smiling at me.

"I guess he's not too bad", I say sort of sarcastically, looking at him as he laughs at me.

After a while, the butterflies go back to their homes and back into hiding.

"Thank you, that was incredible", I say looking into his chestnut eyes.

"That's not all I have to show you", he says as he gestures me to go with him to the next destination.

On the way to the next place we were going to, Thomas showed me loads of nice little things in Neverland, that I had never noticed before. But I was wanting to see what was at the next location.

Even with the trees blocking the light, I could tell it was getting dark. We had been walking for quite a while now and had still not arrived. Neverland is a bigger then I thought it was, I thought, when suddenly Thomas turned around to face me.

"I'm going to need you to close your eyes", he said out of no where.

"Why", I giggled, confused at his remark.

"Just do it, trust me", he said calmly.

"Okay", I say as he puts his hands around my eyes and slowly walks me forward with him.

When he removed his hands from my eyes, I can see we are at an edge of the woods. Up here you could see the Neverland sea, with it's calm and gentle waves. Wow, this is a view I had not seen before, it was refreshing as all I had seen so far is forest.

"This is an amazing view", I say astonished.

"That's not all", he says as he tilts my head up gently to the sky.

It was an incredibly gorgeous sunset. The sky was radiating with crimson, orange and golden colours with hints of blue and purple. You may be thinking that it's not so special but when I was at the orphanage I never really saw sunsets ever or even the sun for that matter, I could only really sneak out at night.

The same goes for my time on Neverland, the only colour I saw was the fires in the middle of the camp.
I mean I had been staying in dark woods for the past few weeks I had seen barley and light and this was just breathtaking.

"It's my favourite stop in Neverland, as you can see all the sunsets up here and the sea properly and the view is amazing. Me and the group come up here occasionally though as we don't get a lot of free time from doing stuff for pan", he explains to me.

"It's breathtaking. To be honest, I forget that Neverland has a sun or any light sometimes", I stated, with a giggle. Then I notice something shiny around Thomas's neck.

"What's it?", I asked curiously, pointing at it.

He pulled out what was around his neck to show me. It is a necklace that has a compass shape attached to the end of it.

He gives it to me and says, "It was my mother's necklace, she always said that if you wore it you would always find your way home".

"Do you miss her", I ask.

"Very much, she was killed by an ogre. After that it was just me, my dad and my little brother. Let's just say life wasn't easy. I never really got along with my dad, so when I was pulled by the flute that night, I couldn't resist the opportunity to go. But I wish I took my brother with me. I regret leaving him with my dad it was so selfish", he says to me.

"I'm sorry about your mother. But you don't know that your brother would want to live here", I say sincerely.

"It's okay, you've lost both your parents. You never even knew them, I can't imagine that. But I still regret leaving him though. And you've lost friends since being here", he says referring to losing Jacob and never seeing Eric again as he knows about them through our talks. We both look down solemnly and I change the subject.

"It's so refreshing to be outside the camp, thank you for this", I say with a smile as I turn my head to meet Thomas's gaze.

"It's okay. You know you will get out of here one day", he assured me suddenly.

"Hopefully", I say wishing his statement could one day become true.

"Come on I've got one more thing to show you", he explained as he took my hand gently and preceded to walk towards another location.
