"Peter?", I say in complete astonishment.

"Alice?", he says in confusion.

"What the hell", I yell, standing up and backing away in shock.

I can't do this, I can't cope. I can't even comprehend the level of emotion I'm feeling. Or the two separate lives I'd been living, coming together and mixing my feelings and memories like a hurricane.

The reason I was naturally good at archery and sword fighting was no secret. The reason I had dreams about Pan 'before I even knew him'. The way I felt like something was always missing or not right. The magic!!!

There were so many sighs, how couldn't I see them?

"I can't believe it", I whisper to myself.

"This whole time and I couldn't even remember", I yell, starting to walk frantically away.

"Alice stop, let's talk about this", Peter demands.

"I can't", I say, as a tear escapes my eyes and continue to walk away quickly.

"Just listen to me", he shouts angrily, getting impatient. He grabs my arm and turns me around.

"Get off me", I shout, pulling away from him with force but his grip stays.

"Not until you talk to me", he states with fury, tightening his grip.

"Let me go", I insist, struggling against his strength.

"You're acting like a child", he hisses.

"Just leave me alone", I demand, finally pulling out of his grip but falling to the ground in the process.

"I'm afraid I can't do that", he sneers, bending down and grabbing me, before teleporting to god knows where.

(Past)

I wake up to the sounds of birds singing and the sun shining in my eyes, blinding me with its brightness. It must be a few hours before midday, judging by the position of the sun.

I instantly get up when I realise the time and get dressed as soon as possible. It's late, very late for me. I should have been ready at least an hour or two ago.

I rush to the ladder, leading to downstairs to see my two careers, Annette and Annie. I say carers because they are not my actual parents.

They found me abandoned at our town market when I was a baby, what a weird place to desert someone. They took me in and raised me ever since then.

"You're finally up", Annie jokes.

"Don't blame me, my sleep wasn't good", I excuse.

"I don't want to think you're getting lazy Alice", Annette laughs.

"It's a one time thing, trust me", I explain.

I sit down to eat some bread, I missed breakfast so I'm just going to have something small before I eat my lunch.

I've lived in this small village in the enchanted forest my whole life, where Annette and Annie have taken care of me.
