(Present)

"What the hell is wrong with you?", I yell at Peter, getting out of his grip.

"You can't just runaway from me when I tell you to talk to me", he shouts angrily.

"And I'm suppose to do what you tell me to?", I scoff.

"Yes!", he yells.

"Did you forget that we're not cursed anymore? I don't take orders from you!", I argue.

"I'm in charge here, you listen to me!", he says sternly, stepping closer. He grips my arm tightly and in a threatening way to try and make me listen.

"Really?", I scoff.

"Okay just stop! Are you forgetting who we really are? You can't scare me into controlling me anymore. Things are different now, I'm not your little pet project that you can torture for fun", I continue as his expression softens and he lets go of my arm.

"Alice look, if I knew-", he begins.

"It doesn't matter whether you knew or not, how could you do that to anyone? You did awful things to me and countless other girls!", I shout.

"Seems like you also seem to be forgetting who you really are, aren't you? Or has the curse blinded you? We're the same, so if you think I'm bad, what does that make you? You're just as guilty as me, so don't try to play innocent", he argues.

He was right. The whole time I was cursed, I couldn't understand how one boy could be so evil and do the things he did. Now, I know that I'm just as bad as him.

"I can't listen to this anymore", I state.

"Because it's the truth and you can't handle it?", he smirks.

"I need to go", I excuse.

"Why do you keep running away?", he asks with frustration.

"What's the problem? You wanted me to leave before we were cursed", I argued.

"That's not fair, I was angry and I didn't mean it. You know that", he insists.

"I need to be alone for a while. We both need time to think", I confess, walking to the door.

(Past)

We start to explore the island and get to know it better, even though I'm pretty sure Peter already knows it extremely well.

He tries to ignore and push away the fact that his mother has passed. He was never good at confronting his feelings.

He just wanted to enjoy the island I suppose. He wanted to ignore everything that had gone wrong recently and leave it behind.

"It's just as I remember in my dreams. It hasn't changed at all", he expresses.

"It's beautiful", I confess.

"It's more than that Alice, Neverland is special", he responds.

"How so?", I question.

"You can do anything here. Just think it, and it can happen", he explains.

"What would you like to eat? Go on, just think it", he continues.

I look down at my hands and think of the most delicious cake imaginable, in my head. As I open my eyes, there it was. Right in my hands, like he said it would be.

"It worked", I smile with amazement.

"And that's not the best part, you can eat cake all day and not get a stomachache. Or swing on a vine through a waterfall. But best of all...you can fly", he explains with excitement.
