Para hindi kami nakikitira sa tiyahin ko. At matigil na ang pang-aapi nila sa amin ng papa ko.

Yan ang araw-araw kong dalangin sa diyos. Na nawa'y bigyan niya ng pansin.

"Do you promise to recognize one another as equals, and support one another in your goals and wishes for the future?"

At kasama na rin sa mga dalangin ko ang maikasal sa lalaki na kaya akong tanggapin sino at anuman ang status ko sa buhay.

Before these witnesses I pledge to share my life openly with you, to speak the truth to you in love. I promise to show up every day and try.
