The drama of the internet had yet to stop. Madelyn and Marshall had just taken Malakai to one week appointment. The internet was a buzz with whether the boys were really Marshall's or not. Madelyn rolled her eyes as Marshall got mad at yet another post.

"Stop letting them bother you. People are gonna talk. It's what they do. We know who our boys belong to," she said.
"It just pisses me off that they are trying to paint you as a bad person," he argued.
"I don't care what a bunch of jealous females have to say. You are mine, and they are ours. The rest of the world can go to hell."

He chuckled at her attitude. He carried Maverick while she had Kai's seat. They walked into the pediatricians office. She got checked in. They were all really excited to meet the new baby. She sighed. She pulled her infant from the seat and got ready for his appointment. They were called back fairly quickly to a room. Marshall felt his phone in his pocket. He pulled it out.

"What up?" he asked.
"Dad are we gonna do something about them talking trash about Mads and the boys?" Hailie asked.

She had her father's temper as well.

"Hai, I have not talked to Paul yet. Ignore what you can, I am at Kai's appointment. I will talk to Paul as soon as we leave here," he said.
"All right," she replied.
"I know it is irritating."
"Just utter crap is what it is,"
"I know."
"Skylar is on there going off on people about it."

Marshall chuckled. He should have known that Skylar as well as a few others had their backs. A lot of their friends were online defending Madelyn and the boys. It made him happy that they had their friends. He couldn't wait to go on their next vacation. It was definitely needed after all this. Madelyn sighed heavily.

"What's wrong?" he asked.
"Just wondering if adding more kids is even a good idea now," she said.
"Baby, we aren't going to let them get to us. We are going to do what we do for us, not them. Please don't give in to them."

She stared at him. This was how the last week had gone. She would calm him down and then he would have to bring her back down. He had set Maverick down on the floor. He pulled Madelyn into his arms.

"We got this under control," he said.

She nodded. She had Kai in one arm. He already planned on calling Paul after they were done at the appointment. She smiled. The doctor entered the room.

"Good morning Mathers family," she smiled.
"Good morning," Madelyn smiled.
"He is just precious."
"Thank you,"
"Maverick enjoying him?"
"He loves him."

She smiled. The doctor checked the baby completely.

"He is perfect. Growing right on target," she said.
"Great. He eats like a champ and sleeps like a dream," Madelyn replied.
"That's exactly what we want to hear."

Madelyn smiled. They headed back to the house after the appointment. He was already on the phone with Paul as soon as they got in the house.

"I want to release a statement about the boys and my wife. I want the bullshit to stop." he said.
"Marshall, people are going to say what they say. It isn't going to matter how you feel about it," Paul replied.
"I know but I want my feelings known about it."
"I get it."

Paul sighed. He knee where Marshall was coming from. He knew that Marshall would do anything to protect the people around him. He definitely wanted his wife and kids protected.

"We can release a statement," Paul said.
"All right," Marshall replied.

Madelyn was feeding Kai. Maverick had gone to his toys that were in the living room. She smiled. Marshall got off the phone and sat next to his wife. She looked over at him. He smiled.

"We are fixing this shit," he said.
"It's all right Marshall," she said.
"It really isn't though."
"Baby,"
"Madelyn, I will do what I have to do to take care of you and the boys."
"I know you will. I know that it will be all right."
"I want to deal with it before it gets worse."
"Ok babe."

He wouldn't let it come to that. He could be done with rap tomorrow and still be financially set for life.
