Their week in Hawaii was amazing. It was filled with snorkeling, laying on the beach, looking for shells, and relaxing. It was a great time and now they were back in Detroit. Marshall followed his wife out of the house for a doctor's appointment. She was handling this pregnancy quite well. They hadn't discussed names again since they had decided on Myles and Mckynna. It was a no brainer to him. He just hadn't brought it up to Madelyn yet. She was getting ready for Maverick's 4th birthday.

Marshall couldn't believe that his oldest boy was going to be 4 years old. He had no idea where the time went.

"Babe, come calm your kids down," his wife called.

Marshall walked into the room chuckling. The only thing that calmed the babies in her belly was when he had his hands on her stomach. She sighed.

"I swear they hate me," she said.
"Nah, just crowded. Sibling rivalry already," he replied.
"I don't think I can take this for another three months."
"We will make it babe. Our babies will be here before you know it."
"Think so?"
"Yeah babe. And they are going to be incredible."
"Is this that dream again?"
"Nah, just a gut feeling."

She nodded. She looked over as their son came in the room. He had a frown on his face and a broken toy in his hands.

"What's wrong baby?" she asked.
"Kai broke this," he said holding it up.
"I'm sorry he did that. Can daddy try to fix it?"
"No mama, it's broke."
"Well now I'm offended," Marshall clutched his chest.

Maverick giggled.

"Sorry daddy," he said.
"Just terrible, so I can rap but apparently I can't fix toys," Marshall said.

Madelyn laughed. Marshall just rolled his eyes at both of them.

"Mommy says that's bad," Maverick told him.
"What?" Marshall asked, confused.
"Rolling your eyes," she told him.
"Then maybe mommy shouldn't be such a bully to daddy. Cuz mommy rolls her eyes at daddy a lot."
"Cuz you are already my sixth child. I swear, these three are gonna make it nine and I am gonna go insane,"

Marshall laughed. Madelyn took the toy from her son. It definitely could not be fixed. She looked at her husband. He walked off to deal with their two year old. She comforted their four year old with the thought of his birthday coming up. Marshall came into the kitchen again. Madelyn could hear Malakai screaming.

"He is on the time out chair," Marshall said.

Madelyn nodded. She went back to what she was doing.

October 16th came quickly. Madelyn woke up in a lot of pain. Marshall called Nate to watch the boys while he took his wife to the hospital. Madelyn was quickly checked out. Her water had broken with one of the babies. Her baby was in distress.

Everything around them began to move quickly. A nurse threw a pair of scrubs at Marshall. He was pacing the hallway waiting on them to come get him. He was worried about it all. The nurse came out to get him. They settled him on a stool next to his wife's head.

"All right, let's have some babies," the doctor said.

She began the surgery. Madelyn was half out of it from the medication. They had already planned on her getting het tubes tied as soon as the triplets were out of there. He gently took Madelyn's hand.

"Here is baby A. A beautiful little boy," the doctor pulled out their first child.
"Myles," Madelyn said softly.
"All right here comes baby B. We have a little girl."
"Mckynna."
"Baby C, our little distressed one is a boy. Get some oxygen on him."
"Marshall, we didn't name him."
"Matthew," Marshall said.
"Matthew?"
"Yeah, Mathew Benjamin."

Madelyn nodded. She was hurting at the moment. They ushered him from the room to be able to do what they needed to do. Madelyn was bleeding pretty heavily and went pale. She looked up at him and his panic set in. He stared thru the window in the door praying. His babies were all rushed from the room. He was able to see them as they were taken to the NICU. All three were in incubators and on oxygen. Matthew had a tube down his throat. Marshall sank to the floor. He heard alarms going off in the OR and his heart stopped. After all this, he couldn't lose his wife.

"Dad," Hailie appeared in front of him.

He looked up at her. She smiled. Tears were rolling down his face. She sat next to him and leaned on his shoulder.

"You know she is going to be ok," she said.
"I keep praying," he whispered.
"Dad, Proof has your back up there. He wouldn't let anything happen to Mads for you."

Marshall nodded. A nurse came into the hallway. He glanced at her.

"Mr. Mathers, we have managed to stop the bleeding. We are finishing up the surgery now and then she will go to the recovery room. You are free to go to the NICU to see the babies," she smiled.
"I have to see my wife first. I have to know that she is ok," he replied.

The nurse nodded and ducked back into the room. He stayed in his spot on the floor. He didn't get up until they wheeled his wife out of the room. She had been put under a quick general anesthetic for them to finish the surgery due to the blood loss. He leaned over and kissed her cheek. They let him follow to the recovery room. She looked peaceful, sleeping there. He was trying to keep his emotions in check. No one wanted to see Eminem become soft. He sighed.

"I know that was extremely scary but she did well," the doctor informed him.
"So no more babies?" he asked.
"We were able to do the tubal ligation once we got the bleeding under control so no there should not be any more babies."

Marshall nodded. He sighed and sat in a chair next to his wife. She never stirred.
