Marshall got up the next morning and helped his wife make breakfast. He was excited about talking to his fans later on that afternoon. He looked at his wife. She smiled in his direction before moving to give the triplets some more food. He was surprised how much food those babies could eat.

"Marshall," she said.

"What's up babe?" he asked.

"What time is your chat?"

"Three."

"All right."

"Why?"

"Just wanted to make sure so I can keep the kids busy."

"It's on the computer. No video so they would be fine."

She nodded. She just wanted to make sure that he was able to focus on what he was doing. She enjoyed their morning together and really enjoyed nap time around their house. He got up to get dressed as Matthew woke up crying. She got up and got dressed as well.

"I got him, babe," Marshall said.

He did majority of his fan chat with Matthew in his lap. He had to chuckle when a few responses came out funny because Matthew hit the keyboard.

"You doing all right babe?" Madelyn asked walking into the room.

"Yeah he is keeping it interesting," he laughed.

She nodded. He let the fans know that he had his youngest child in his lap and of course everyone wanted to see him. Marshall hadn't been posting a lot on Instagram and neither had his wife. They just relaxed and enjoyed their time with their family. He knew how much the fans wanted to see his children and how they were growing up but he wasn't wanting to deal with people now that he had to deal with the guy who had broken in.

He shifted Matthew in his lap as Maverick ran into the room.

"Daddy," he said.

"What?" Marshall turned his attention from the screen for a moment.

"Can we go outside?"

"Not right now bud. In a little bit I will take you outside."

"Ok I want to ride my power wheel."

Marshall nodded. He had gotten both his older boys a power wheel that they wanted. They loved riding them in the driveway. He kept going with his chat and answering their questions. A few people wanted to know if they were going to do more seasons of their show. He told them there were no plans for that at the moment as they wanted the children to live a life as normal as possible.

"Daddy," Malakai yelled.

"What monster boy?" Marshall called back.

This resulted in both Matthew and Malakai being in his lap while he answered questions. He couldn't help but chuckle that his kids were always around. He looked at his boys as they giggled.

Malakai looked at his father. He shook his head and messed up his son's hair.

"No daddy," Malakai said, giggling.

"Whatever little man," he laughed.

He only answered questions for an hour. Then he logged off and took his children outside to play. He pulled out the boys power wheels from the garage. Maverick and Malakai drove them around the driveway for a while. Maverick stopped in front of his dad.

"Daddy put bubby in my car," he said about Matthew.

"You gotta be easy then," Marshall replied.

Maverick nodded. Marshall helped him with Matthew. He made sure that he was secure in the power wheel and then let his son ride off. He wasn't surprised when Matthew began to cry.

"Daddy," Maverick said.

Marshall jogged over to him and pulled Matthew from the car. He sighed.

That night after the kids were in bed, he sat on the couch with his wife wrapped in his arms. He rested his arm on the back of the couch.

"How was your chat today?" she asked.

"It was fun," he replied.

"Awesome."

He nodded. She leaned over and kissed him. He ran his fingers thru her hair. She smiled and snuggled into his arms.

"Mads," he said.

"What?" she asked.

"Why me?"

"What do you mean?"

"Why did you chose to marry me?"

"Because you love me."

He made a face at her. She giggled slightly.

Flashback

Madelyn sat at the restaurant waiting on Marshall to show up. He was running late from the studio. She sat there with a glass of water in front of her. She sighed. He came rushing in the door of the restaurant.

"Hey baby, I am so sorry," he said sliding into the booth.

"It's all right," she replied.

"You been waiting long?"

She glanced at her watch and shrugged. He sighed, feeling bad about it. He wasn't about to tell her that there were girls in the studio with them and one tried to proposition him into taking her to an office. He damn sure wasn't going to tell her that he thought about it. She had crossed his mind and he knew she was waiting for him so he had just left.

"I am sorry," he said.

She nodded. He smiled at her. The waitress walked over to get his drink order and an appetizer order from them.

End

Marshall looked at his wife again for a moment. He had never figured out why she had stayed. He was always an ass in the beginning not wanting to get attached. He had done everything he could to push her away and it had never worked.

"Baby, I'm sorry for all the shit I put you thru in the beginning," he said.

"I know Marshall. I was scared too. I didn't want to get hurt and tried to hold you at a distance for so long but I just couldn't help it," she replied.

"Love is some bullshit sometimes huh?"

"I don't regret falling in love with you."

"Well that's good. I don't regret falling for you either. I love every day with you even when we drive each other insane."

She laughed. He kissed her lips and pulled her closer into his arms. She wrapped her arms around his neck and let him deepen their kiss as his arms settled around her waist.
