Marshall was sitting next to Madelyn when she woke up. She looked up at him and began to tear up. He pulled her up into his arms.

"Stop, Mads I ain't mad," he said.
"Marshall, I never even thought about how it would possibly hurt our boys," she sniffed.
"Our boys are ok. They are worried about mommy but they are ok. Pretty sure this shithead is all talk at this point but baby why wouldn't you tell me?"
"I know what he is capable of."
"Madelyn, I will never let anyone hurt you like that ever again. You are mine."

She nodded against his chest. He hated that she felt this way and he couldn't stop it. He wanted to take it all away and put her in a protective bubble. He knew that wasn't possible though.

"Mads, we got this under control right now. We are changing your number and it has already been reported to the police. Paul is getting the security detail in place." he said.

She nodded. She was definitely blessed to have this family. Marshall pulled her into a kiss. She wrapped her arms around his neck. He leaned his forehead against hers.

"I will protect you," he said.
"I love you Marshall Mathers," she said.
"I love you too girl."

She giggled at him. He got up from the bed and grabbed her hand.

"Come on, it's time to eat," he said.
"Holy shit, I ruined this holiday huh?" she asked.
"No baby girl, not even close to the most screwed up holiday we have ever had."

She stopped in the bathroom to wash the tears from her face. Her eyes were still puffy. She walked back to the hallway to her husband. He put an arm around her waist and they went down the stairs. Maverick looked up.

"Mommy," he grinned.
"Hi my handsome boy," she smiled picking him up.

He hugged her around the neck. She kissed his cheek. She set him down to take her baby from his sister. Hailie hugged her as she took Malakai.

"You doing ok?" she asked.

Madelyn nodded. She still had the anxiety that Corey would show up somewhere but was glad that Marshall knew and she would be protected now. He smiled at his daughter. The other two girls came over to hug her as well.

"I am ok, I promise," she said.

They nodded. They all sat down to eat their Thanksgiving meal. Madelyn was quiet during the meal. She was relishing in the fact that she was surrounded by a family loved her. She had never been more glad for Ashley insisting that she go on the blind date with Marshall. He had his moments but he really showed her that he loved her and even thru the rough times, he was never abusive to her.

On their way home that night with the boys, she leaned back in her seat. Marshall was driving. He had one hand on the wheel and the other on her thigh. She was staring out the window.

"Talk to me," he said.
"I'm scared," she admitted.
"Why?"
"Corey is a psycho. He has done some off the wall things just because he can."
"Babe, I ain't gonna let him get to you."
"He said he has seen you at the studio."

Marshall glanced at her sideways.

"You think he is stalking us?" he asked.

She nodded slightly. He was on the phone instantly. She looked back at her babies. They were both asleep in their seats.

"Paul, we need to rerun every background check and double security at the studio for now," he said.
"Same dude?" Paul asked.
"Told Madelyn he would see me at the studio."
"Gotcha."

Marshall hung up. He squeezed Madelyn's hand. She was trying to remain calm. He pulled up to the gates in front of their house. He entered his code and drove up to the house. He helped her take the boys in the house.

He carried his oldest son up the stairs to get him ready for bed. He was able to change his clothes and get him into bed without waking him. Madelyn was doing the same with Malakai. She walked down the stairs afterward. The phone went off. She picked it up.

Corey: Bitch I see you. Fuck u and them kids. Dont go to sleep tonight.

Madelyn dropped the phone. Marshall heard it on the hardwood floor of the hallway. He stepped out of Maverick's room.

"Baby, what is it?" he asked.

She just pointed to the phone. He picked it up and read it. He called the police. She sat down against the wall. He looked at her.

"Don't give up on me now, Madelyn Nicole," he said sternly.

She looked at him and nodded. He nodded back. He reached out a hand. She took it and let him pull her up from the floor. She smiled.

"You are a Mathers and you are stronger than this," he said.

She nodded. The gate buzzed. He went to deal with it. She followed him. His security had two officers at the door. He smiled as he let them up. Madelyn stood next to him at the door with the phone in hand. He greeted the officers. Madelyn froze when she saw one of the guys. She grabbed Marshall's arm. He looked back at her.

She shook her head hard and backed up. He looked back at the two cops.

"Madelyn," the officer said.
"No," she said.
"How have you been? See you made it out of that shit storm known as Corey."
"Why you?"
"I don't speak to him anymore. I haven't since we arrested him for beating his last girlfriend so bad she wound up in the hospital. She refused to sell herself to make him money."

Madelyn began to shake. Marshall grabbed her in his arms before she hit the ground. She clung to him.

"I got you," he said.
"Is Corey harassing you?" the guy asked.
"More like threatening and stalking her."
"We can put in paperwork for a no contact order as well as cite him for stalking. It may only piss him off further though. But it will give us the legal leg if he violates it."

Marshall nodded. They gave him the paperwork to fill out as well as a copy of their report number which contained all of the information they had seen. Madelyn had calmed down now about the officer in front of her. The guy was working diligently to make sure they felt safe.

"We will patrol around the area to ensure that he isn't around," he said.

Marshall nodded. He also decided to make sure that he had his own security monitor all around the property. He looked at his wife.

"Are you ok?" he asked her after the officers left.

She shrugged.

"I don't know that I feel safe here," she said.
"I have them patrolling the fence too, our guys," he said.
"All right."

He nodded. She sighed. They went to get ready for bed. He set the alarm on the house and went to bed next to her with her held close to him.
