Madelyn walked out of the bathroom ready for dinner. Marshall smiled when he saw her.

"Holy shit gorgeous," he said.
She chuckled. He pulled her into his arms and kissed her. They were heading out to their reservations. He kept her hand in his as they walked to the restaurant. She loved that she had his attention. He hadn't been on the phone unless they were talking to their kids.
"We definitely needed this," he said. "We did. I really appreciate it," she replied. "Baby girl, I love you." "I love you too."
They enjoyed a nice dinner. Marshall decided that they needed to take a walk on the beach after dinner. She removed her heels as soon as they got to the sand. He reached his hand out to take them for her. She smiled.
"Thank you handsome," she said. "Of course baby," he replied.
If he was anyone else it wouldn't have been so shocking but because it was Marshall, people would have been stunned. He walked along the sand with her reflecting on his relationship with her.
Flashback
Marshall watched her walk into the venue. He needed to admit to himself that he had some pretty intense feelings for her. She lit up when she saw him. She threw her arms around him. He chuckled to himself.
"Glad you could make it," he said. "Of course I was gonna make it. I missed you," she said. "Missed you too."
She had been living with him for a few months now. He loved that he got to come home to her. He wanted to admit it to her but fear kept him from opening up.
"Marshall," she said. "What?" he asked. "You ok?" "Yeah babe, I am good."
She gave him a funny look. He was fighting his own feelings. She pressed a kiss to his lips. He tangled his hand in her hair.
End
Marshall glanced at her as they walked along. Madelyn looked so peaceful. She had one hand in his and the other on her baby bump. He couldn't help the smile that crossed his face.
"What?" she asked. "Just enjoying this," he said. "Yeah?"
He nodded. She squeezed his hand. He lifted her hand to his lips and pressed a kiss to her hand. They made their way back to the room. He was glad that they still had quite a few days to spend together. It was his time to get to know his wife again.
Flashback
"Marshall," she said. "What's up?" he asked. "Look at this."
She pointed to the article in the magazine she was reading. He rolled his eyes.
"Why do you read that shit?" he asked. "Because it's hilarious," she chuckled. "It's stupid." "Babe, you don't like finding out things about yourself?" "Not that bullshit."
He just shook his head. It was a story about him and Kim, claiming they were getting back together. Madelyn snuggled into his side.
"Aww baby, do you not want me anymore?" she joked. "Shut up Madelyn," he said.
He leaned back on the couch and pulled her down with him into a kiss. She moaned into his mouth and ran her hand up his shirt.
End
He looked at her. She had just walked out the bathroom door again. She looked at him. He was lying on the bed watching television. Madelyn slid onto the bed with him. He held an arm out for her to snuggle into his side.
"Baby," she said. "Yeah?" he asked. "What is our plan if we have more than one baby?" "We will be fine babe. We will have it all under control." "Are you sure?" "Yeah why?" "Been thinking about your dream." "Babe." "No, Marshall, my biggest fear is something happening to me and you being left alone. I know how you are and you wouldn't do well." "No I wouldn't. I didn't think I would find someone like you. Never once thought I would fall in love with someone again." "I'm glad you did though babe." "Believe me, I am too."
She sat up on the bed. He smiled and looked at her.
"Marshall, I don't want to leave my babies," she said. "You won't mama, it will all be fine," he said. "I really hope so."
He sat up and kissed her. She put her arms around his neck. He rested his hands on her growing baby bump. He loved feeling her belly as their child grew.
"I know I was an ass with Maverick and Malakai but I love seeing you with a belly, knowing that you are growing our child," he said. "You were an ass with them both but I sort of understand it now. The shock of Maverick's pregnancy had me scared honestly. Then Kai's scared me because I wasn't sure how you would react," she said. "I love that you have stuck by me though." "That's a two way street babe. You are by my side just as much as I am by your side."
He kissed her again. He pulled her back down on the bed with him again and snuggled her into his side.
