Marshall hated lying to his wife. She came down the stairs into the kitchen just as he got off the phone with her father. She kissed his cheek.

"Hey baby," she said.
"Hey," he replied setting the phone down.
"You ok?"
"Yeah, I'm good. Are you?"

She nodded. He smiled at her. She couldn't help the grin that spread across her face. She loved it when he genuinely smiled. He pulled her into his arms and kissed her.

"Just finalizing some Valentine's day plans for us," he said.
"Yeah?" she asked.

He nodded.

"You are so beautiful," he said.
"Well thank you handsome," she smiled.
"You doing ok?"
"I feel like a bum today but yeah, I'm good. No new crazy from my mother and things are looking well with the babies."

He nodded. She slipped her arms around his shoulders.

"Plus I have this super handsome and sexy man who keeps telling me how much he loves me," she said.
"Oh he does huh? I will kill him," he replied.

She laughed. He kissed her again. Not having to worry about another pregnancy was great. He ran his hands to her butt. She smiled.

"I love you so much," she said.
"You broke down those walls in me babe. Something no one could do," he replied.
"I am glad. Someone else may have gotten what I want."
"Nah, no one compares to you. Not in a million years."
"Yeah?"

He nodded. She got real serious for a moment.

"Sarati called yesterday," she said.
"What did she want?" he asked.
"To know if you were ready to leave me."

Marshall shook his head. He kind of regretted ever doing the River video with her. She had slowly become obsessed and wanting to be in more of his videos. She had hit on him during the video shoot even though he was married. He wasn't going to hurt his wife like that. Madelyn had been on set with both Maverick and Malakai when they had shot the video so he wasn't sure where lines got crossed. He couldn't remember fighting with his wife at all during the shoot.

"She is crazy," he said.
"You know you love crazy," Madelyn joked.
"Well obviously. I married you right?"

She playfully hit him. He chuckled and pulled her into a deep kiss. Matthew's cry broke it. She pulled away and went to get him. He needed a diaper and a bottle. She got both and sat down on the couch to feed him.

She could hear Marshall on the phone in the other room.

"Why are you calling my house?" he asked. "I don't care, I told you not to call my damn house. I will be in LA next week."

Madelyn's eyes widened. She wasn't sure what to think now. She knew the press was all over him in LA so sneaking around would blow up on him. She sighed heavily. He came out of the kitchen still on the phone. He must have thought she was upstairs because he damn near jumped out of his skin when he saw her on the couch. He smiled at her.

"Yeah, ok. Yeah, you too, bye." he hung up.

He walked into the living room with her. She looked at him.

"Were you gonna tell me that you were going to LA?" she asked.
"Yeah, why?" he sat next to her.
"Who were you talking to?"
"Josh."
"Your assistant?"
"Yeah."
"He hasn't called the house since he started with you, Marshall."
"Babe it was Josh, I swear."

She rolled her eyes but let him tell his lies. She didn't want to deal with it. The exhaustion of being up and taking care of three babies was taking it's toll on her.

"You want to call him and ask?" he asked her.
"No," she said flatly.
"Madelyn, we have been together how long and not once have I ever cheated on you. I ain't about to start now. Losing half my shit in a divorce plus an insane amount of child support just doesn't interest me."

He had tried to make it a joke, earning him a glare from his wife. He leaned over and kissed her.

"I meant it, you are it for me. I may joke about shit, but you are my other half. I can't lose you," he said.

She nodded still feeling uncertain. She looked at her little boy. He was falling asleep in her arms. She sighed.

"Baby, come on," he said.
"What?" she asked.
"Silent treatment? I will cancel LA right now and stay home with you and the kids,"
"No you don't have to do that,"
"Babe, I will. I want you to be ok."
"I'm fine. Why are you headed to LA anyway?"
"New video shoot."
"Better not be with her."
"I don't know so I can't promise you that."
"Marshall."
"I will let you know as soon as I do."

He sighed. She stared at him. She didn't like the girl when she did the River video. She was too over the top and dramatic. It was more than just the acting in the music video. She was like that all day every day.

"Why not just put Skylar in your video?" she asked.
"Babe," he sighed.
"At least I like Skylar."

Marshall chuckled. He kissed his wife just as his daughter began to scream up the stairs. He went to get her, coming back down with Mckynna and Myles.
