"Dad, why are we all here tonight?" Alaina asked as they sat at the table.

Marshall ignored her question. He made a plate for his older son. Madelyn was making up a plate for Malakai. The three girls stared at them.

"Wanna make them stew thru the meal?" Marshall asked his wife.

She chuckled.

"Nah, any guesses as to why we would do a last minute family dinner?" she asked.
"Another baby?" Whitney said.

A smiled graced both Marshall and Madelyn's faces.

"I knew it," Hailie yelled.

Marshall laughed at his daughter.

"It's a girl too huh?" Hailie said.
"We don't know yet. We are due in December," Madelyn said.
"Really?"

Madelyn nodded.

"Are you guys excited?" Alaina asked.
"I am," Marshall said.
"Me too," Madelyn smiled.

They enjoyed their dinner with the kids. Madelyn bathed Malakai before his bedtime. Marshall sat in the living room with the girls. Maverick was playing with his toys and ignoring them all. Madelyn had been debating on preschool for him before kindergarten.

"Mads," Hailie said.
"What's up?" Madelyn asked, stepping from Malakai's room.
"You want a girl don't you?"
"I do actually. I love all three of you so much. I know how much you love your brothers but I would love to see you here with a little girl."

Hailie nodded. She would be excited for them to have a girl. She wanted to dress her up and take her to get her nails done. Madelyn could see the wheels turning. She chuckled as she watched the young lady.

"Just thinking of all the ways I can dress her up," Hailie laughed.
"Oh I see you three spoiling a little girl so much." Madelyn said.

Hailie nodded. Marshall was watching football in the living room. The girls were talking about how they couldn't wait to find out if it was a girl or a boy.

"Baby, I gotta change your spa stuff," he said suddenly.
"Sorry love," she replied.

He shrugged his shoulders. It wasn't a big deal. He just wasn't going to risk his unborn child. He looked over at Maverick. The little blonde was laying on his belly playing with his cars on a rug that had a city road scene on it. He loved the thing. Madelyn sat next to Marshall while he watched the game.

Two days later, Marshall kept the boys while she and Ashley headed out to the spa. Marshall planned on working on his new album while the boys napped.

Skylar came by to help out with the album. If there was any girl that Madelyn would be ok with being in the house when she wasn't home, it would be Skylar. Marshall was hard at work when Malakai woke up. Maverick liked his sleep way more. Skylar brought him down to the studio so they could keep working.

"Where is Mads?" she asked Marshall.
"Sent her and Ashley to the spa today for some relaxation. She deserves it with everything she had been thru recently and all the things she has gone thru in life." he said, not looking up from what he was writing.

Skylar nodded while she cuddled Malakai. Marshall looked over at his boy. The little boy was getting dark hair like his. Both boys had his curls. They both had his blue eyes as well.

"She know you are dropping a new album?" Skylar asked.
"Yup, she has listened to each song that is on it so far," he replied.
"Really?"
"Yeah, no surprises with this one for her."

Skylar nodded. She looked at him then back down at the baby she held.

"Can you keep a secret from the media?" he asked.
"Yeah why?" she gave him a funny look.
"Baby three is on the way."
"Really?"

He nodded.

"When is she due?" Skylar asked.
"December," he replied.
"Seriously?"

Marshall nodded again. He had told his brother the day before and the girls already knew. So he was in the clear on telling Skylar.

"That's extremely exciting," she said.
"I am happy. We really want a girl this time," he said.
"Are you done after that?"
"She wants to be. I would give that girl anything she wants at this point. She has dealt with so much drama and bullshit from me, this trial, and her life in general that she just deserves it all."
"You are such a sap over her."

Marshall chuckled. He knew he sounded soft but it was just Skylar that knew this. She agreed that Madelyn deserved everything that Marshall could offer her. She had been there for the tour mishaps and the drama. She still felt bad about the argument they had on their Florida vacation over her texting him.

"She ain't even mad about that anymore. Plus she don't get mad at you. It's me that takes the fall," he said.
"Yeah but I still feel bad, you only go on vacation one week a year and I bugged you on a bad year," she replied.

Marshall shrugged. He was used to messing up. It was his thing. His wife loved him though and that was the important part of it all. She hadn't divorced him and was having a third baby of his. He couldn't ask for much more than that.

"That woman is incredible. I have been so thankful for her. She literally makes me want to be a better person. Like I want to be home all the time. I hate leaving to go to the studio without her. I wish I could drag her along to everything I do," he said.
"You are such a girl," Skylar laughed at him.
"Oh well. I will be that with her."

Madelyn came home around 5 that evening. Marshall and Skylar had the boys in the kitchen and had dinner ordered. Madelyn watched them for a minute.

"Hey," she said making her presence known.
"Hey baby, how was the spa with Ash?" he asked her.
"It was amazing."
"Good."

He moved over to kiss her. She grinned as he slid his arms around her.

"Wait til later when I thank you for it," she whispered in his ear.

His eyes widened and he kissed her neck. Skylar gagged and laughed.

"No wonder baby three is on the way," she said.

Madelyn laughed. Skylar hugged her before heading out to meet up with her boyfriend. Madelyn looked at Marshall.

"What did we order for dinner?" she asked.
"I got the boys chicken. I ordered us tacos," he said.
"Ok."

He turned her around in his arms to properly kiss her. She was happy to be home.
