Dia

I tossed around my bed still thinking about what happened. I can't believe that I almost cried infront of them, knowing that I can't show my vulnerable side to them.

I shooked my head and tried to sit up, my body is still sore from exhaustion. Tiningnan ko lang ang aking mga mata na dating kumikinang. It's like the life in my eyes was gone. Seeing him so happy with another girl hurts me.

Pailing-iling lang ako habang nakatitig sa aking sariling repleksyon. I should'nt be crying over some dumb shit, I sighed, my breath still ragged and my throat was all dry from crying. I can't look weak..

"Konting panahon Dia...matatapos rin ito..aalis rin siya.." I whispered to myself. Hindi ko na alam, I want to be throw all my things everywhere, I want to ball my eyes out, I want to laugh bitterly, Oh how his eyes twinkled while seeing her, it made my heart go weak, it made my heart break into a million pieces.

I stared blankly at the space infront of me, I feel so pained right now, and it's not going anytime soon.

I squinted when the sunlight kissed my face. Hinimas ko lang ang aking mukha at tiningnan ang aking digital clock.

Realizing what the numbers displayed, I immediately sprawled out of bed and quickly prepare. Hindi ko na namalayan ang oras. And It's already 6:30 in the morning.

I forced myself to run through the hallways while my body is still sore from exhaustion last night. Tumigil lang ako at napatingin sa salamin. Inayos ko ang aking buhok at tumakbo ulit papunta sa office ni Dr. Sarmiento.

"Joy! thank goodness! you're here!" I exclaimed loudly at her face. Napa-iling lang Nars sa aking harapan. "Dra. Pumunta ka na doon, Dr. Charles was waiting like an hour a- AH!" Hindi natapos ang kanyang sinasabi nang nagmamadali nanaman akong tumungo sa kanyang Office.

I stood in front of his door afraid to break down infront of him. Kabado akong kumatok habang kumakabog ang aking puso.

There was a deafening silence between the door and me. I decided to turn the knob carefully afraid of making a mistake.

I gasp as the door opened widely, while a towering man stood infront of me. His flowing white lab gown was framing his body while his eyes was staring sternly to my face.

"A-Ano kasi-" My words were interrupted when the door slammed to my face. I shrugged but opened it anyways.

"Dra. Guilberra..baka nakalimutan mo na ako ang superior dito habang hindi pa bumabalik si Dr. Vergara." Pagyayabang niya. I glared at him with digust on my face. Kung pwede lang siyang sagutin.

"What do I expect from a tardy Doctor like-" Like he did to me, I also interrupted him by pulling his collar close to me by an inch. Our staring contest last for like a second, but it felt like an hour.

"Baka nakakalimutan mo na kahit si Dr. Vergara o ikaw pa ang superior dito, Ospital ko pa rin 'to, this hospital belongs to me and my family." I coldly stated. He gave me a look of dismay at rolled his eyes.

"Oo nga naman, you and your family only rely on money." He insulted again. This time, I can't keep my anger inside me, so I slapped his face.

It all happened so fast. That single slap would get him back to his senses.

"You..have no right..to talk about my family like that." I said, furiously. Pinatong lang niya ang magkabilang kamay niya sa lamesa at napabuntong-hininga.

"Dismissed."

"T-Teka, S-Sir!" Nauutal kong pahayag.

"I'll just tell Dr. Vergara that this training is unsuccessful, I'll tell him to find another Dr. to train you.." He replied coldly. I immediately grabbed his arms as I gripped it tightly.
