Task One: School Is In

Part One: The Problem That Started It

School has rules, and when one breaks those rules, there must be consequences, whether you were a bystander, or a key player in the problem. Something happened at Capitol Hill, something that your student was a part of, or witnessed, something bad enough that Principal Thorne felt you needed to be punished for it. After all, even the good kids need to be punished sometimes.

***

Your Task;

Describe the event that your student witnessed, or was a part of, that made them come under Principal Thorne's radar. This is essentially the event that made the Principal put you into the 'Games.'

***

Requirements;

It doesn't matter what happens, so long as it would go against a school's rules (eg, bullying, fighting, selling drugs, etc.). Your student also must either take part in whatever is happening, or witness it happening and not report it.

For anyone wondering, there is security in Capitol Hills, they are just security guards; no fancy name.

Part Two: The Letter That Ended It

On a brisk, snow-filled January morning, 30 students at Capitol Hills Boarding School, awoke in their dorm rooms to find a letter slipped under their door, with the seal of the office on the cover. Upon opening it, they find a map and instructions written neatly on it.

***Congratulations! You have been chosen to participate in Capitol Hill's first ever in-school enrichment program. Your parents have been notified of this offer and have given their permission for you to participate in the program for the next 2-3 months, and are aware of why you will not be coming home over March break this year. Please pack one backpack sized bag of clothing or any other essentials you feel you will need, as part of the experiment includes not leaving the program's designated buildings for the duration of the program.

No electronics of any kind, including cellphones, laptops, tablets or other Personal Electronic Devices will not be permitted, only in-school computers, with permission may be used. These PED's may be dropped off at the front office before making your way to the buildings, which can be found through your map. Any student found harbouring a PED will be immediately expelled from the program and the school facility.

You will have your own room, which can be found through your gender (F/M) and the number in which you have been assigned. (For example, if you were Female 1, your room number would be F1, Male 1 would be M1 and so on for both) All students must be within the building and in their room by 5pm, any students not, will be immediately expelled from the program and school facility.

This experiment is a competition, the winner of which will receive full scholarship to the university or college of their choice upon graduation. Good luck, and once again, congratulations!***

Your Task;

Describe how your student reacts to this letter, and what they do. They are not allowed to ignore the letter, as this program in not optional. Their day may go however you wish, so long as by 5pm, your student is in the building. For those wondering, at 5pm, when all the students are inside, all doors leading out of the building are locked, most doors inside- especially their bedrooms- have no locks.

***

Requirements;

Your student's reaction and what they do. This is a good chance to show the kind of mind set your student has towards school.
