I stood there in shock as Harry threw the punch and Jean just stood there, letting it happen. But I was glad. He deserved it. How could he do that? I mean, I knew we weren't exactly his favorite people in the world, but he hit her.
I ran over to the edge of the boat and saw Dester treading water, coughing up his lungs. He had trouble staying afloat with his twenty pound cast.
"Helpp!!!!" He screamed. He was getting farther and farther away as the boat kept moving. "Stop the boat!"
Liam sighed. "Marisa, we have to help him."
I sighed as well. "Ya, I know." I ran into the small room where Quad was manuevering the boat.
"What's going on back there?!!" He screamed, keeping his eyes on the ongoing sea.
"You didn't even come to check?" I asked. "Stop the boat!"
"There's no dang auto-captian or whatever on this boat!" He screamed back, pulling some triggers and the boat slowly came to a stop.
I huffed and walked back on the deck to see Harry and Jean in a full out fight. Ah, good, back to old times.
Harry was obviously winning. Jean was still in shock, I think from hitting Kayla. Well then why did you do it, idiot? Kayla was standing off to the side, looking happy at Harry, but really confused. Harry threw punch after punch and Jean tried to dodge a few, but Harry had so much anger in him there was no contest. After a few seconds, Jean's nose was bleeding and he had many bruises. I looked around. Where was Liam?
Oooohh. I saw him diving into the water, shirtless. Nice. He grabbed Dester, who was flailing around like a baby, and I came over and somehow figured out how to lower a ladder. Liam half carried Dester up it.
Once they reached the deck, Liam dropped Dester on the ground with a thud and ran over to Harry and Jean, trying to pry them apart. "Guys, stop," He said, but then he turned around and punched Jean in the face. "Sorry, I wanted to try it."
Finally, they both calmed down. Jean moved a few feet back, and Harry was glaring at him, wanting to go back to kicking his ass.
"I can't believe you," Harry spat. "I remember. I remember some of the horrible stuff you put us through and did to us."
Jean was still speechless.
"Say something, you idiot!" I yelled. Okay, I wasn't really good with the bad ass talk, but hey, I was trying.
"We should just go down and get some sleep," Liam said, still shirtless and soaking wet, breathing heavily.
Kayla huffed and left the deck, going down the stairs. Quad came out, looked around, then went back and started the boat back up.
"HARRY!" Dester screamed. "You pushed me overboard!"
"No shit," He said, still red. "Serves you right."
I smiled as Dester grumbled angrly and slopped down below deck.
I sat in the cabin, staring at the ceiling and thinking. Harry was remembering a lot now. He clearly just demonstrated that he now knew how to fight, and obviously was remembering his feelings towards Jean. I just wondered when and what else he would remember.
Cuz there were some things that I'd be best if maybe he didn't remember. Like, say, Devin.
Dester stomped down the stairs and shot me a pointed look. At least he made it clear that he hated me. Well, I wasn't gonna stay down here with him. He was scarrry. So I walked back up the stairs to find a wet Liam talking to Harry, who was still red faced and shaking, Marisa eating a bag of chips and sitting on the ground, and Jean holding a towel to his bleeding face.
As I walked past him he tried to say something, but I ignored him and walked over to Marisa. "Boys are stupid," I said, sitting down next to her and taking a chip.
"I second that."
"Hey," Liam said, looking over at Marisa sadly. "Not all boys are stupid."
"I didnt mean you, sweetie," she quickly said.
Jean walked over to us, still bleeding and cleared his throat, but it came out in more of a gurgling sound. "What do you want?" Marisa spat, surprising me.
"Uhm, for you to leave?" Jean asked.
Marisa scoffed and stood up. "Rude," she muttered as she walked away.
He turned to me. "Sorry," he said simply.
"For what? Hitting me or kidnapping me?"
He shrugged. "Hitting. I don't really regret kidnapping you."
I sighed. "It's fine. I think Harry's more mad about it than I am anyway. And Marisa."
Jean nodded. "It's a good thing that he hates me so much. He remembers a looottt."
As if on cue, Harry walked over, still eyeing Jean, and mumbled to me, "I don't like him."
I laughed. "I know, Curly. You don't like a lot of people."
He tilted his head, kind of like a puppy. "Curly?"
"Yeah. Sometimes she called you that," Jean said, getting another glare from Curly.
"Shut up," Harry said.
Jean sighed and walked away. "I can't waiittt to see how he reacts when he remembers eveything."
Harry looked at me. "What's he talking about?"
"I dunnnnoooo. A lot happened."
Harry just looked at me.
Quad came over and said, "We'll be here for about two days. So, for now let's have dinner. Harry, do you think that you can sit at the same table as Jean without punching him in the face?"
Harry shrugged and walked away.
