“Selfish Brat!”

I yelled at Lisa who was running away with her beloved Jennie Kim. They looked really happy in the arms of one another. If you’d ask me, I am definitely jealous and I hate it every time I feel lonely that I have no lover to share those kinds of moments.

I was actually getting used to being alone these days but then someone would always show up and bother me in the middle of my loneliness.

“Missed me?”

That golden sweet honey voice would always cut through my silence and every time I look at her, she’s always giving me that smile that could light up my whole damned world.

“No I didn’t” I lied.

She pouts at me and my heart can’t keep up with how adorable she has always been.

“Chipmunk, stop pouting because you look ugly when you do that”

“Don’t you find me cute?” She pouts more and started to lean forward.

My brain stopped functioning the moment Chaeng’s face was just an inch away. My heart was pounding so loud I prayed that she didn’t hear a single beat. I tried to lean back but then my butt reached the edge of the log and then I fell and rolled in the sand like a panicked cat that just got splashed with water.

“Hahahahahahahaha!!”

Laughter filled the night while I watched her with a stupid grin in my face. The sound of Chaeyoung’s laugh has always been the most beautiful resonance I had ever heard in my entire existence. My whole being matters whenever I see her happy.

“Yah! Roseanne Park, stop laughing!”

I scowled and tried to fight a smile but her beauty always finds a way to distract me. She scrunched her nose and throws sand on me while I released the light feeling she brings me by laughing loudly.

“Stop using my real name Jisoo or the creator might get mad at you”

I sighed and take the space back beside Chaeyoung.

“I think you forgot that I am already thrown away Chipmunk so even if he gets mad at me, it doesn’t matter to me”

“Don’t say that”

She reached for my hair and tried to brush the sand away. I stupidly stared at her beautiful eyes and then my brain stopped working –

“You should know that you have the most beautiful name ever. You deserved to be called by your real name because you are as beautiful as a rose”

She suddenly stopped what she was doing and when I realized what I just said, I internally face palmed myself and wished to disappear right at that very second. But all hell broke loose when her gaze met mine, my breath hitched and I got lost in the eyes of the beautiful angel in front of me.

Fuck I am so doomed!

I waited for her to tell me to stop or waited for her to disappear but then she gave me her brightest smile and my heart skipped a beat.

“When did you learn to speak the language of love Kim Jisoo?” she chuckles and then shakes her head.

“You and Lisa are spending too much time together”

Gosh Chaeng, I didn’t learn anything from her. It all came from my heart.

“Are you practicing lines for your match?”

I stared at her with wide eyes and my heart sank to the ground.

 Will she ever see me the way I wanted her to see me?
