THE CLIFF

Jisoo -

"Have you heard from Chipmunk?"

"Nope, she haven't been visible for weeks now. Jennie is always beside you, don't tell me you've never seen her"

I narrowed my eyes at my bestfriend but she only raised her eyebrow at me through her rearview mirror.

Jennie cleared her throat as she looked at Lisa and I back and forth.

"You always talk about Chipmunk. Who the hell is Chipmunk? Do you talk to squirrels or something?" she asked with an annoyed expression and Lisa and I became a laughing mess.

"What's so funny?"

"I'm sorry princess, Chipmunk isn't a real squirrel. She's a friend" Lisa explained.

"She?!?" I swallowed at Jennie's reaction. She looked like she's about to spit fire any minute now.

"Relax princess, she's just a friend I promise"

I was about to touch Jennie's shoulder to try and calm her down but she gaped at me with piercing eyes.

Okay, she looks like a mad cat.

"Don't you dare use your ability on me Kim Jisoo. I need to know if Lisa is cheating on me"

My jaw dropped to the ground and felt scared for my bestfriend. I've never seen Jennie this possessive and I think Lisa is loving this side of her because of the stupid grin on her face.

As soon as we parked the car in Lisa's favorite spot, she cupped Jennie's cheeks and gave her a kiss.

"Princess, I will never cheat on you. You're the only girl who stole my heart and I can never look at someone else the way I look at you. I swear that you're the only girl for me and no one else"

"Whipped"

I acted like I was about to throw up but I got scared when Lisa and Jennie both gave me an angry look.

"Okay! I'll leave you lovebirds alone!" I opened the door and hop off the car.

Today is another day. Everyday has been the same, students gather everytime Lisa's car would arrive just to get the chance to glance at Lisa and I.

Jennie already got used to it and it even made her more possessive of my bestfriend. Nobody dared to bully Jennie anymore because Lisa is always protecting her. Krystal kept her distance from us while Bobby dropped out of school.

Everything was in place for Lisa and Jennie while I am still a mess deep inside my heart.

I can't stop thinking about Chaeyoung. I miss her everyday and it hurts not seeing her. I haven't even told her my feelings, yet she is already keeping her distance and I have no single idea why.

Damn it!

The day passed by and I went straight to seven eleven, my everyday itinerary. I bought beers and some chips so I could bring them to the cliff.

I found a new sanctuary to hang around. It had the perfect view of the city and the sky felt so near. Everything was almost perfect except for the fact that I no longer have Chaeyoung with me.

Back when I was still an angel, sitting at the edge of the cliff was our thing, it was something that only she and I share.

"I hate you Chipmunk. Stop hiding and show yourself because I miss you!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs and chugged the alcohol down my throat.

I was lying at the cold ground and watched the stars swirl around the sky. My head started to spin and my vision started to haze.

"Fuck"
