"Jake! What happen to your face?! O________O" Gulat na hinawakan ni Tricia ang magkabilang pisngi ko. Pinagmasdan niya ang band-aid sa pisngi ko.

"I'm not a kid anymore. And don't act like you even care."

"Don't act like that. I still care for you Jake. Even I don't have any chance to be your fiance. I still like you." Pero tinanggal ko ang pagkakahawak niya sa mukha ko.

"Do you even think or hope that my heart will be soft to fall to anygirl anytime I want? World is a big chess board. You get checked or you dominate. There's a lot of plans and traps in your mind but there's a big possibility for it to go behind your expectations."

Umuwi ako sa bahay ng pagod. Pagkadating ko, naupo agad ako sa sofa. Hinagis ko na lang basta ang bag at laptop case ko. I'm so tired. Kaya naman pinikit ko muna ang mata ko ng panandalian.

"Jake, we need to discuss something." Boses nung matanda. Tsk.

"Sure." Pikit ko siyang sinagot.

"Ok, in my office. Now."

"No. Hindi ba pwedeng dito na lang? Ganun ba kapribado ang pag-uusapan natin? If not, then discuss it already. Gusto ko ng magpahinga." Minulat ko ang mata ko at tumingin sa kanya ng seryoso ng nakataas ang kilay.

"About your fiancee. We already decide who it will be. If kala mo si Tricia, don't worry son. She won't be. Pero atleast alam na namin na handa ka na."

"Yeah, you know that I'm ready but does the girl you're talking about is same as me? Well, even she don't I'm awake from long time ago that fairytales don't exist. You prove it on me."
