Chapter 16: You Did What?

You: I'm bored.

Clem: Me too.

You: I'm gonna go see what Lee's up to.

Clem: Okay, I'll be here.

You stand up and walk towards the conductors station. You see Ben leaning on a bar.

You: Hey Ben.

You starting to walk towards the conductors station but Ben says something.

Ben: It was me.

You: Huh?

Ben: I was the one giving the bandits supplies.

Your eyes widen and you walk back towards Ben.

Ben: It's all my fault.

You: I could kill you.

Ben: I...I...

You: I could push you off this train, an eye for an eye asshole.

Ben: Wait, Y/N no! Please!

You: Why shouldn't I.

Ben: They- they...

You cut him off.

You: You have 5 seconds.

You step towards him.

Ben: They said they had my friend! I didn't know what to do! Y/N, please!

Your mind
Ben: What are you doing?!

You: Finishing it.

Ben: What?! No!

You push Ben off the side of the train.

Back to reality
Ben: I had to tell someone.

You: I bet you did. If you ever endanger me, Lee, Clementine or anyone else again, I will not hesitate to put a bullet in your eye.

Ben looks at you terrified. You walk back to Clementine but before opening the door you say under your breath...

You: Pussy.

You open the door and sit back down next to Clementine.

Clem: That was fast.

You: Yep.

Clem: Are you okay?

You: I'm good.

You usually aren't good at lying, but you managed to pull that off and keep a straight face.

Lee walks in also with an angry face.

You get up and walk towards him.

You: Lee, can I talk to you for a sec?

Lee: Sure.

You both walk to a place in the cart where Clem can't hear you.

You whisper: It's about Ben.

Lee whisper: He told you?

You whisper: Yeah. What are we gonna do?

Lee whisper: I don't know, he means well, but he's stupid.

You whisper: He can't stay with us, he's gonna get everyone killed.

Lee whisper: We're a group, we can't just make decisions like this on our own.

You whisper: I don't know if you've noticed, but Kenny just lost his family, you and I both clearly want him gone, I don't know if Chuck is even considered a part of the group, and Clementine knows that someone got a lot of people killed, and her best friends eye shot out. So I'm pretty sure the only person that wants Ben to stay is Ben.

Lee whisper: So you wanna leave a kid to die out there?

You whisper: We could just kill him...

Lee whisper: What?!

You whisper: It could be quick and painless.

Lee whisper: Stop! We aren't killin him, I don't ever wanna hear you say that again, got it?!

You look down.

You whisper: Yes sir.

You sit back down next to Clementine.

Clem: What's wrong?

You: Nothin.
