I am in love with this song! Also, I'm sorry in advance.

Magnus's POV

Isabelle had left hours ago. She was still Head of the Institute until Alec recovered.

They had brought Alec back yesterday morning. And now it was around dinner time.

Magnus had received a fire message from Eros that said that Alec could regain consciousness anywhere from a day to a week. Hopefully it would be less than a week. Magnus didn't want to wait any longer than he had to to get his Alexander back. The fire message also said he would be weak and vulnerable when he first wakes up, so Magnus would have to take care of him.  Which he had no problem with, of course. Magnus sighed, laying down on the bed next to Alec.

Even though he had only died less than a week ago, it felt like they hadn't been together for an eternity. He laid his hand over Alec's. One of Alec's fingers moved. Magnus looked over at his boyfriend, but his eyes were still closed. He must have imagined it. He sighed, closing his eyes. Eventually he fell asleep.

Isabelle's POV

When Isabelle arrived at the Institute, Jace and Clary were both out on the hunt. She walked to her room. She had a lot to think about. How would she tell the rest of the Institute about Alec? And the Clave. And pretty much everyone else in the Shadow World. The news of his death had spread quickly. As one of the best Shadowhunters alive, most people knew his name. But now he was alive. And they couldn't tell anyone about the Guardian Angels.

She sighed. The New York Institute was something for other Shadowhunters to look up to. Sure, it might not have been so great in the past, but Alec had really turned this place around. Alec was an amazing leader. And Isabelle, well, Isabelle wasn't so sure. It was a lot of pressure. There wasn't a single Shadowhunter who didn't know who she was. Isabelle Lightwood, Head of the New York Institute.

She heard shouts outside her door. She stood up from the chair she had been sitting in and bolted out the door.

"Get her to the infirmary." Someone shouted.

Isabelle saw Jace and ran over to him. "What's going on?"

"Clary. She got hurt pretty badly on the hunt."

"Oh no," Isabelle said, turning on her heel and running to the infirmary. Clary lay on one of the many white beds, her bright red hair spread across the pillow. Her eyes were open, and several doctors were buzzing around her, doing all sorts of things. Isabelle walked over to her to get a closer look. Her stomach was bleeding badly, and it looked to be poisoned. Great. This month just kept getting better and better.

Jace's POV

He had literally turned around for two seconds, and this happened.  Stupid demons. And he wasn't even allowed in the infirmary with her. He had already lost Alec. He wasn't losing Clary too.

Isabelle had told him to just relax. She said everything would be fine. And his only option was to believe her.

Alec had been the only thing he could think about since yesterday. He had gotten distracted in a fight, and now Clary was paying the price for it. This whole thing was his fault. If he hadn't had gotten possessed in the first place, Jonathan would still be dead, Alec would still be alive, and Clary wouldn't have gotten hurt.

Every time he would change his shirt, his eyes would drift to the black spot on his skin where the parabatai rune had once been. It was a constant reminder that Alec was gone, all because of him.

Magnus's POV

"Magnus," Alec whispered. Magnus sat up right away, looking at Alec. His eyes were still closed.
