A/N I don't know how y'all will react to this so just... just be ready.

Alec's POV

"What the actual hell was that, Alec?" Jace yelled at him. "How could you not tell me?! I'm your parabatai! You have to tell me things, Alec!"

"I didn't know, Jace! Can we talk about this later, please? I have to check on Magnus."

"Fine. I'm going back outside."

"Jace..."

But it was too late. The blonde was already halfway to the door.

"I'll follow him," Isabelle muttered, running after him.

Alec was left with Clary. She stood by Magnus, who was still knocked out cold. Alec had laid him down in some blankets on the floor of the Accords Hall. The place was filled with injured shadowhunters and werewolves. Outside, the healthy were rounding up the surviving enemies, discussing what to do with them now that the Gard was gone.

Magnus started mumbling something, and Alec recognized the language as Latin.

"Quaeso, ne derelinquas me." He said. "Ne derelinquas me,"

"Magnus, it's okay. I'm right here." Alec took his hand, rubbing soothing circles into the back of it.

"What was he saying?" Clary asked.

Alec rolled his eyes. "You're probably like the only Shadowhunter who doesn't know Latin,"

"Not my fault," Clary replied. "What does it mean?" She asked again.

"'Quaeso' means 'please'. 'Ne derelinquas me' means 'don't leave me,'"

"Oh," Clary answered.

"I'm going to check him for injuries." Alec said after an awkward silence.

"Yeah, uh, you should probably do that." Clary stood up, walking towards the wall, facing away from them, her arms crossed in front of her.

Alec used a seraph blade to cut Magnus's shirt off of him.

Alec caught his breath. The left side of Magnus's ribs were bruised. Alec cursed.

"What?" Clary asked. She was suddenly next to him, looking down at Magnus's injuries.

Alec ran his fingers across the bruise, trying to see if any of his ribs were out of place, or worse, broken.

One of them was in fact broken. That wasn't good. Magnus began mumbling again, this time more clearly, and in Indonesian.

"Aku cinta kamu."

Alec's mind flashed back to what seemed so long ago.

"What does it say?"

"Aku cinta kamu. Indonesian for I love you."

He stood up. "Clary, I need you to do me a favor."

She looked up at him. "Yeah?"

"You know where the Infirmary is, right?"

She nodded.

"Good. Go get me some bandages, some aloe vera, and I need water, too. Oh, and burn ointment."

"Since when do you know anything about healing?"

"Since Isabelle made me take a class four years ago. Now go."

Clary nodded, turning on her heel and running out the door.

Isabelle's POV

"You knew about this, didn't you?" She asked Eros, who was standing in front of her with his tiny wings folded behind him, fidgeting with his thumbs.

"I did," He replied quietly. "But it wasn't my place to tell you. I suppose I should explain it now that you've seen it happen."

"You better," Jace grumbled. He was sitting on a rock, looking at nothing, his arms crossed over his chest, his legs straight out in front of him.

"You see," Eros began. "Alexander is... special. Raziel  spent millennia looking for a shadowhunter worthy enough, just in case. He's been watching Alec, ever since he was born. He's always thought that maybe, just maybe, he would be the one."

"The one of what?" Jace asked harshly. He was ticked. "What the hell did you do to my brother?"

"I'm sorry, but I have to go. Imogen will explain the rest."

Before they could protest, Eros was gone.

Magnus's POV

Magnus's first thought when he opened his eyes again was 'ow.' Everything hurt. His head, his ribs, his arms and legs. He groaned, closing his eyes once again.

"Magnus?" Alec's voice rang in his ears. He sounded far away. Magnus forced his eyes to open again. Alec and Clary's worried faces loomed over him.

"Are you guys okay?" Magnus croaked.

"You," Alec said. "Are insane."

Magnus smiled. "You knew what you were getting yourself into."

"Did I though?"

"Shut up,"

Clary smirked. "Well, I'll leave you two alone," She was gone before Alec could say anything.

"Help me sit up," Magnus told him.

"Maybe it's better if..."

Magnus death-stared him.

"Okay, okay, fine."

Pain flared through Magnus's whole body, but Alec helped him to sit up, propping up against the wall.

"Alexander, I have to ask you something."

"It can wait. Save your breath at least until Caterina gets here. You have a concussion and a broken rib, plus there's a third-degree burn the size of Lorenzo's ego on your leg."

Magnus chuckled. "Actually, I don't think it can wait."

"Magnus..."

"Will you marry me?"

"I..." He paused. "What did you just say?"

But Magnus reached behind him, pulling something out from his pocket.

It was a small box. He opened it to reveal a ring.

"Ma-Magnus, I don't think now's really a good time for that,"

"Now may be the only time. With Jonathan still on the loose, we never know what horrors will come tomorrow." He took Alec's hand in his free one.

"Alexander Gideon Lightwood," Alec might have well just died. "Will you marry me?"

Alec put his other hand on top of Magnus's. "Only if you'll marry me too,"

Magnus had never felt so happy in his entire life. Everything going on around them faded into a blur. Alec became the only thing he could see. His heart was beating so fast he was sure Brother Zachariah could hear it all the way from the Silent City.

Magnus leaned toward Alec, and Alec did the same.

Seconds before their lips touched, an explosion rocked the Accords Hall.

Several things happened at once.

Jace, Isabelle, Simon, Bob and Luke rushed into the hall, each being escorted by a warlock, each with a sword pressing against their throats. Jonathan appeared at the dais, his eyes all black. Maryse and Max were thrown into the room as well, vampires holding them with their fangs inches from their necks.

A/N Sorry for another short chapter. Guys, we are nearing the end of this very long story. Will everyone get killed? Probably. Am I going to be nice and at least let Magnus and Alec get married? We'll see. So I kind of just dropped that proposal where you didn't think it would be. Or at least I hope you didn't expect it to be. Anywaayy, love y'all, thanks fro reading, bye.
