Bob's POV (You are very welcome.)
"They're here."
"What's happening?"
"Robert, you have to listen to me."
"But mama..."
"No. Take your sister and get out of here. We don't have much time."
"No, no, no, I can't leaveth thee h're. Not aft'r ev'rything thee've done f'r us."
"I'll meet you in the woods, okay? If I'm not there by the next morning, I can only say I'm sorry."
"Bobby? What's going on?"
Bob grabbed his sister's hand. "Joan, we has't to wend."
"But..."
A window shattered, and people began flooding the house. The door burst down. One of the masked men dropped a match. The carpet set on fire.
"Now!" Agnes yelled, pushing them towards the back door. "I love you." She whispered, pressing something into Bob's hand.
Bob woke with a start.
They had made it to Alicante hours ago. He shared a room with Magnus, Jace, and Alec. They all had separate beds, although Magnus had ditched his and joined Alec.
"You okay buddy?" A soft voice asked.
Bob pulled his knees close to his chest, breathing deeply.
"Nightmare." He mumbled in response.
He heard some rustling, then Alec was by his side.
"Yeah, I've had my fair share of nightmares too. You wanna talk about it?"
Bob sighed. "T's just mine own past. T keeps coming backeth to haunteth me."
Alec nodded. He sat on the bed next to him, rubbing soothing circles in the small of his back.
"Who's Agnes?" Alec asked quietly after a while.
"She wast liketh a moth'r to me. Aft'r mine own parents kicked the bucket, the lady tooketh mine own sist'r and I in and hath raised us. She's gone anon."
"Oh," Alec replied. "I'm sorry to hear that."
"Nothing we can doth about it now,"
Magnus's POV
He woke up in the morning to the sun shining through the window. He turned over in bed groggily, reaching his hand out. He expected to feel Alec there, but instead his hand hit the rough blanket. His eyes flew open. He sat up, worry washing over him. The worry faded when he saw Alec sitting on Bob's bed, his head tilted back, his arm wrapped around the little green guy, snoring quietly. He smiled at the sight. Not that he liked his man cuddling with someone other than him, but this was an exception. He swung himself out of bed, about to snap his fingers into a new outfit when someone's hand wrapped around his.
"Don't." Jace told him. "They're already mad enough about having a warlock in here. Try not to use your magic, please."
Magnus sighed. "Fine," He said as dramatically as possible. "I guess I'll just have to get dressed the mundane way."
Jace snorted. "Get used to it. I've been doing it my whole life and I am still extremely breath- taking."
"If you weren't so important to Alec, I would punch you in the face right now."
Jace only rolled his eyes playfully. "Someone's grumpy."
Magnus chuckled, punching him lightly in the shoulder. "I'm gonna wake up sleeping beauty over there," He pointed at Alec. Bob had already gotten up, and was now back in his suspenders and bright orange Mickey Mouse shorts. Magnus would have to fix that later.
