Caterina's POV

"What the hell, Lorenzo?!" Cat was so angry that she actually slapped him across the face. "I can't believe you!" This was followed by some very colorful choice words.

"If you want to be on the losing side, then fine. I expect you to leave immediately."

"Fine. I will." She huffed. She was not fighting against the Shadowhunters. That was just crazy. "Let's see who's on the losing side when this is over." She formed a portal, being as dramatic as possible to draw attention. She wanted the other warlocks to see how stupid this whole thing was.

She stepped through the portal, heading to the New York Institute.

What she saw surprised her. She didn't expect the fighting to start so soon. The Seelies were there, using their power over plants to make the vines and grass fight against the Shadowhunters, tangling their legs and making them trip.

This Institute was just having bad luck. They had already lost enough Shadowhunters for an eternity. Fortunately, the battle was rather small, and Caterina was able to get rid of all of the Seelies with one blow of magic.

"Caterina."

She looked up to see Isabelle Lightwood running over to her, her left eyebrow had a cut running through it, but other than that she appeared to be okay.

"What are you doing here?"

"I told Lorenzo I wasn't going to fight on the losing side of the war." She said plainly.

Isabelle smiled. "You got that right, girl."

"Where's Magnus? And Alec? Are they okay?"

"I was about to ask you the same thing about Madzie."

"She's fine. With a good friend of mine. No one will find them."

"Oh," Isabelle sighed in relief. "That's good. About Magnus, he's okay, I just told him to watch over Alec and Jace just in case someone tried to kill them."

"Why? Are they hurt?"

"Unconscious, but the doctor said they were fine."

"How long will that last?"

"A couple of days at the least. Hopefully no more than a week. But I think they'll wake up soon enough. The parabatai bond may be weaker, but everything is going to be okay."

"That's good to hear. We need some good news in our lives in times like these."

"Yeah,"

Jonathan's POV

"No."

"Mr. Greymark, don't make me force you to cooperate."

"My answer is no, and that's final. The werewolves of the New York pack will be on the side of the Shadowhunters."

"You make the wrong choice."

Then Jonathan disappeared.

He loved doing that. It confused people and drove them crazy at the same time. He himself didn't know exactly how he did it, but he could do it and it was awesome.

The meeting with the Head of the New York Vamp Clan was pretty crazy.

The vampires wanted to be with the Seelies and warlocks. But their leader, Raphael Santigo, refused. So the vampires did just as Jonathan would have told them.

The threw him off of the roof of the Hotel Dumort.

If Jonathan had been in charge at the moment, he would have just put a stake through his heart. Over half of the clan had gone with Jonathan, the rest of them either fleeing or going to make sure that Raphael was okay.

Jonathan already knew that falling off a building, no matter how high, wouldn't care a vampire. They were already dead. But it would injure them.

Jonathan smiled. He was pretty sure they would win this war. After all, they had the demons, warlocks, Circle Members, Seelies, and Vampires on their side while all the Shadowhunters had were the Werewolves.

Maybe this would be easier than he thought.

Magnus's POV

Magnus was standing in the infirmary, waiting for something to happen.

You could almost believe that the two shadowhunters were only sleeping. Their chests were rising and falling steadily, their expressions peaceful, as if they were in the middle of a good dream.

He heard the doors opening, and his hands lit with magic. He raised them up only to see Isabelle, Simon, Caterina, and Luke enter the room. He lowered his hands again, extinguishing the magic.

"So, we have good news and bad news." Isabelle started.

"Tell me the bad news first."

"The Vampires threw Rapheal off of a building..."

"They did WHAT?!" Magnus was already panicking. How could they be so calm?

"He's okay, Magnus," Simon spoke up.

"What's the good news?"

"The good news," Luke said. "Is that the wolves did NOT throw me off the roof, and they all agreed that Jonathan is no good. So we can safely say, the whole New York pack is at your aid. Whatever you need."

"Okay..." Magnus said slowly, unsure of how to phrase his question. "And Caterina, I thought the warlocks joined the Seelies?"

Caterina rolled her eyes. "They did. You expect me to stick with that?"

"She slapped Lorenzo in the face." Isabelle smiled.

Magnus felt the corner of his own lips tugging up. "Seriously?"

"Oh yeah," Caterina smirked.

"Good. Someone needed too." Magnus gestured behind him. "Wait till Alexander wakes up. He'd love to hear that."

"Yeah, he would. Did you see his face when he first met Lorenzo?"

Magnus smirked. He remembered that night pretty well. And afterward when they 'broke into' Lorenzo's mansions. Alec was a mess. Antique pot? Really? God, he is adorable.

The door opened once again, and everyone tensed up. Simon's fangs slid out, Luke's eyes started to glow, Isabelle clenched the seraph at her belt, and Magnus's hands were alive with magic once again.

"Sorry, to interrupt." Maia walked inside the room, causing them all to relax a  bit. "Wow, you guys are tense. The war had barely just started and here you are."

"Sorry, Maia. We're just being cautious."

"I don't blame you."

"So..." Isabelle said after an uncomfortable silence. "What do you need, Maia?"

"I was at the Hunter's Moon, working my shift, when this group of Seelies and Vampires came in and just trashed the place."

"Seriously? There was absolutely no reason for that." Magnus mumbled. He loved the Hunter's Moon. He had some great memories with Alec there.

Melirorn's POV

He had nowhere to go. The Queen thought he was dead for failing the mission to kill Magnus Bane. Running through the streets wasn't going to last for long. Demons were everywhere, and he couldn't fight them all off on his own. Not to mention, he heard a war broke out among the Shadowhunters and the downworld. If he had heard right, the Seelies, Vampires, demons, warlocks, and Circle members were on all Jonathan's side.

That's what made up his mind. He would go to the Institute. Hopefully, they wouldn't kill him on sight. He would just have to hope that Isabelle was there.

Hi. That video at the top 😂😂 I can't stop laughing. I keep thinking of Ace Ventura every time I hear the 'Mission Impossible' theme and I just... I can't.

Okay, thanks for reading, love y'all, bye.
