Magnus's POV
He woke up to voices.
"You have to get out of here. Now." A male voice, one Magnus didn't recognize.
"What? Who are you?" That was Alec.
"I'm Aelfdene, prince of the Seelies. Trust me, you don't want to be here when my mother comes out."
"Prince of the Seelies? What do you mean?"
"You've probably never heard of me. I've been dead for centuries. And unless you want to end up like me, a ghost trapped on this island for the rest of eternity, you need to leave this cave."
Magnus sat up, rubbing his eyes to see who was talking. It was a boy, with blue skin and blue hair that seemed to glow faintly, and white eyes. All white. He had vines tattoed on his face and neck, just as the Seelies did. His ears were pointed, proving that he was actually one of the fair folk. He wore a pale green striped shirt.
Magnus stood up, feeling a lot better now. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the cave entrance starting to shrink, slowly, but still shrinking. His eyes widened in alarm.
"Alexander," He said, pointing to moving rocks. "He's right. We have to get out of here."
Alec stood up just as the spirit disappeared. The vines on the cave walls were glowing purple. A laugh echoed through the cave, female and creepy as hell.
Ellis followed suit, standing up as well.
The cave door was almost closed.
"Run!" Ellis shouted. Magnus obeyed, running towards it. Suddenly, someone grabbed his arm, pulling it back, hard. A loud crack was heard, and Magnus clenched his teeth to prevent from yelling out. What he saw grabbing his arm was beyond scary.
It looked like a woman, with long black curly hair, white eyes that glowed in the darkness, her skin dark blue, like the night sky. Her teeth were cracked, but still perfectly white. She wore a white blouse, which was covered in blood. Magnus fought the urge to scream. The cave entrance was so close to closing, he just hoped Alec would make it out.
"Magnus!" The shadowhunter yelled, grabbing his other arm. Ellis turned on hi heel, seemingly noticing for the first time that they had not followed him out of the cave. He pulled something from inside the rocks, and then there was a bright light. Magnus's vision went out as he was thrown backward, slamming into the stone wall of the cave, both the Queen's and Alec's grips loosening, then they were gone completely. Magnus opened his eyes just the smallest little bit to see Ellis running towards them. The top of the cave was gone, just leaving a giant hole that went up for miles, where a light was found. Probably the top of the mountain.
"Come on, we have to get out of here before she comes back." Ellis was saying, his voice sounded as if he was underwater.
Ellis grabbed his arm, and before Magnus even knew it, he was dragging him. Magnus didn't know where, or why, but he was too tired to think properly, let alone fight back. Everything went black.
Isabelle's POV
"Uh, Jace?" She was waving her hand in front of the blond's eyes, trying to figure out why he was zoned out. "Hellllooooo? Earth to Jace. Isabelle speaking." She sighed when she got no response.
His eyes had flashed white, then he had just zoned out.
Then he blinked. "Huh? What?" He blurted.
"What was that all about?"
"There was this flash, and an explosion, and..."
"What are you talking about?"
"I-I don't know..."
"Uh, maybe you should go to bed. It is like three in the morning,"
"Alec," Jace said suddenly. "If they are across the ocean, wouldn't the time zone be different? Maybe it's midnight on that island."
Isabelle grabbed the papers, watching as more words appeared. "You're right,"
"ELLIS THREW A FIREBALL AT THEM!" Jace exclaimed, his eyes moving back and forth as he read through the paper.
"He did what?!"
"I swear to the Angel if that son of a bitch hurt them..."
"They're okay, right? Wouldn't you of felt something through your parabatai rune if Alec got hurt?"
Jace nodded. "Maybe that's what that flash of light was."
"Oh,"
"I'm going to bed," Jace said suddenly, stalking out of the room.
"Okay then," Isabelle mumbled, picking up the papers he had dropped on the floor. She walked back to her room. She would have to read all of this from the beginning.
Jace's POV
When he got to his room, he shut the door immediately, locking it behind him. He changed into his shadowhunter gear, sliding a black leather jacket over his shoulders. New York was cold this time of year.
He couldn't risk going back into the hallway. Someone might see him. So he opened his bedroom window, jumping out. His feet landing on the ground silently, an effect of the silence rune he had activated. He ran through the dark streets, clutching a seraph blade in one hand. It was not safe to be out on the streets alone at this hour. Three AM was the devil's hour, although most mundanes didn't believe it. Jace chuckled to himself as a thought crossed his mind. Mundanes and The Clave had a lot in common. First, they are both idiots, second, they are of no use to anyone, and just make everything harder than it has to be, and most importantly, the third reason: They both had the collective intelligence of a pineapple.
He stopped when he got to the bridge that ran over the river where the entrance to the Seelie Realm was. It was probably locked. But then again, maybe not. Jace would be completely outnumbered. So maybe they would let him.
He stood there looking at the water for a while before he took a few steps back. He ran towards it, jumping up on the railing. His feet left the railing and just as his feet were about to hit the water, they went right through it. He was in.
Hi! Bye!
