"He's here." Baekhyun gasped.
"Who's here?" Chanyeol asked. "Who did this to you?"
"I should've left Seoul. I never should've stayed."
"Baekhyun, look at me." Chanyeol held his face with both hands. "Look at me. Who's here?"
Baekhyun's eyes kept dripping with tears and the fear he had on them is nothing like Chanyeol had ever seen before.
"Byun Baekhyun!" Somebody grabbed Baekhyun away from Chanyeol.
"Min Jae!" Baekhyun uttered.
"Come on!" Min Jae pulled him away but Chanyeol held Baekhyun's arm.
"Where are you taking him? What's going on?" Chanyeol asked.
"Just go back to your house." Min Jae said.
"Wait!" Chanyeol pulled Baekhyun to stop Min Jae. "Did you do this?"
He looked at the red marks on Baekhyun's wrists.
"What? No!"
"Then who did?" Chanyeol asked.
"We have no time, Chanyeol. We need to go." Min Jae pulled Baekhyun inside a taxi that is waiting for them and shut the door.
Chanyeol pulled a taxi of his own and instructed to follow the taxi infront of them.
The route took him infront of a house where Min Jae and Baekhyun's taxi stopped. They went down and Chanyeol paid his taxi before running after them.
"Ya, Kim Min Jae!" Chanyeol yelled.
"Park Chanyeol, I told you to get lost."
"I'm not leaving! What is going on?"
"Just go home to your fiancé." Min Jae opened the gate.
"Baekhyun.." Chanyeol called.
"Kris is back." Min Jae blurted out. "He went to his apartment."
Chanyeol's eyes grew as the concern he had for Baekhyun being away from away multiplied.
"That bastard did this to you?" Chanyeol asked.
"I didn't know how he got inside. He's not a resident." Baekhyun said.
"Where is he now?" Chanyeol is furious he wanted to smash something on Kris.
"What can you do? I bet he's hiding again. Just go home. Baekhyun's staying at my place until Kris is gone. I don't care how long it takes." Min Jae said.
Chanyeol doesn't approve of Baekhyun staying at another guy's house. He knew Min Jae, and he's Baekhyun's friend. But he also knew how he felt for him back in high school and it annoys him that Baekhyun's staying with him.
"Baekhyun.. just come home." Chanyeol pleaded.
"I.. I can't." Baekhyun muttered.
"Why? Is it because of dad? Or Kim Na Na? You have me and Jisoo. We'll protect you."
"How?" Baekhyun spat out. "Park Chanyeol, just how? I'm tired of being not good enough. I'm tired of pleasing everyone. I'm tired of paying just because I survived. My head hurts thinking about it all the time and my body's tired from all the beat-"
Baekhyun took back his words but it was too late.
"What?" Chanyeol was shocked. "What do you mean?"
"Nothing. Just go home already. It's late." Baekhyun said.
"That night.." Chanyeol uttered. "..it wasn't the first, was it?"
