"Baekhyunneeee!" Jisoo shouted when Mr. Choi opened the car door for Baekhyun. "I've been waiting for you since this morning. I kept peeking outside the window to check."
"You shouldn't have."
"I was so worried.. are you okay?" Jisoo asked.
Baekhyun was carried onto a wheelchair by Mr. Choi. The wounds on his feet are not yet completely healed which made walking impossible for him.
"Dr. Lee said I'll be stuck in this thing for a few days." Baekhyun said, gesturing at the wheelchair.
"Does it still hurt?"
"Only when I try to take a step."
Jisoo ran at Baekhyun's back bumping Mr. Choi out of his way. Baekhyun felt panicked when Jisoo pushed the wheelchair and immediately looked behind.
"What.. what are you doing?" He asked.
"Don't you worry. You just sit there. I got this.." Jisoo pushed the wheelchair inside the house.
"Welcome home, Baekhyun. I mean, young master." Ms. Nam, the head maid of the house greeted him. "Mr. Park instructed us to prepare a room for you at the ground floor. He said it would be impossible for you to take the stairs for awhile."
Baekhyun gave her a smile and a nod then she guided Jisoo to Baekhyun's temporary room.
Jisoo helped Baekhyun climb on top of the bed and pushed the wheelchair to the side.
"You're lucky you have me here, aren't you?" Jisoo said giving Baekhyun the biggest smile.
"Uh.. yeah."
"So.. we have the whole day all for us. What do you want to do?" Jisoo asked.
"What can I do?"
Jisoo smiled wider and he opened the drawer beside Baekhyun's bed.
"This!" He saw a drawer full of a wide variety of snacks. "I prepared it this morning. Dad said at the hospital last night that you'd be back today."
"Oh.. thanks." Baekhyun grabbed a snicker, took half the wrapper off and bite into the chocolatey, caramel-ly goodness.
"I haven't eaten since last night." He said.
"I know you wouldn't! I'm a mind reader, right?" Jisoo said.
"You sure are." Baekhyun smiled at him.
"I have some good news and bad news for you. Which one do you want to hear first?"
"Uhmm.. the good news?" Baekhyun said.
"Chanyeol will be leaving in two days which means you'll be relieved from the devil."
"Oh.. leaving where?" He asked.
"He's taking a vacation with our mom. You see, mom and dad are separated. She lives in California now. Chanyeol will be going there so you can relax while he's gone."
"That sounds.. great? But aren't you going?"
"I told my mom I needed more time to study. Which is a code for spending time with my new baby brother! Also, Chanyeol will be gone for a year.. which makes it more awesome! But then, there's the bad news."
"What's the bad news?" Baekhyun asked.
"Chanyeol will be missing a year from school. Which means he'll be a year late from his studies. WHICH MEANS THE END OF THE WORLD!" Jisoo exagerrated.
"How is it the end of the world?"
"He'll be in the same year with us when he comes back. Which means he'll be attending in either of our classes or the three of us will be in the same class. Uhh.. I can't even imagine him talking to my friends. Let alone being in the same class with his annoyingly grim face."
