The streets are full of people early in a Saturday morning. It's the weekend and Chanyeol has no classes scheduled. He knocked on the door of the café hoping that someone inside can accommodate him even though he's two hours early before the café opens.

The lights are turned off inside and Chanyeol felt hopeless that the café really won't open their doors for him.

He felt defeated after twenty minutes of waiting for someone. He knew he can't stay long or he'll be late so he walked away from the store and went back to his car. He roamed around, looking for an open café nearby. Luckily, after twenty minutes on the road, he found a small bakeshop where he immediately stopped and checked.

"Good morning." The staff cheerfully greeted.

"Hello." Chanyeol awkwardly said.

He roamed around the bakeshop, looking at a wide variety of bread available. Some are sweet and some are savory in different kinds of shapes and sizes he couldn't imagine a piece of dough can be formed.

"Excuse me, do you sell new york cheesecake here?" Chanyeol asked.

"Ah, yes. It's not yet in the pantry because my dad just made them last night."

"Can I buy one?"

"One slice?"

"No. One whole cake." Chanyeol said.

"Oh, my first customer today. I'll go get it for you. Wait here."

He realized that the girl wearing an apron he assumed was a staff was actually the owner's daughter. He looked around at the different kinds of bread as he waits for the girl to come back. There are a lot of names he haven't encountered before, even the once he's familiar of the appearance.

"Here it is. One new york cheesecake." The girl said, holding a box of round cake on her hands.

"Is it always this plain?" Chanyeol asked.

"New york cheesecakes are always plain. We have different kinds of flavor if you want other options."

"No. I heard the name new york cheesecake. But I guess it's not the same in every places. I really thought it has chocolate syrup." He murmured to himself.

"Ahh.. we can put chocolate syrup on top if you request it."

"Really?" Chanyeol's face lit up.

"Yes. Some customers like putting different kinds of sauces if they don't want a plain cheesecake. We have chocolate, caramel, strawberry sauce, and more."

"I'll take chocolate." Chanyeol said.

"Okay, chocolate it is."

The girl placed the cake on top of a table and grabbed the container of chocolate sauce. She starts pouring it around the cheesecake as Chanyeol fidgets a box of macaroons at the pantry.

"I'll take this too."

"Sure, one moment. The cake is done. I'll just wrap this for you and we'll head to the counter."

The girl brought the box at the counter and tapped the POS to place Chanyeol's order. He gave her the credit card, and after one swipe, a screeching sound of paper surround the bakeshop when the receipt was printed.

"Here you go, sir. Thank you, and come again."

Chanyeol went out of the bakeshop and puts the cake and macaroons at the passenger seat. He turned on the engine and went to his second destination.

The fried chicken shop.

He stood in line as he waits for his turn. When he arrived at the counter, he order a box of twelve fried chicken legs and hands his credit card at the cashier.
