Chapter Fifty Six

He woke up catching his breath from the horrifying scene he had a hard time deciphering if it is real or just a dream. He touched his head and beads of sweat started to form on his forehead as he felt a throbbing headache. He squinted his eyes trying to adjust to the brightness of the room as he heard a beeping sound. When he opened his eyes, he saw something was attached to his right hand connected to an IV fluid.

'Right. I fell asleep at the freezer.' He thought.

"You're awake."

He almost jumped to his surprise when he heard someone spoke. He looked to his right and saw someone sitting at the couch. He had a hard time seeing his face from the dim lit room as the man stood and Baekhyun froze. He was walking towards him and his eyes grew when the faint light in the room touched the face of the person he least expected to see when he wake up.

"Lucas?" He muttered.

"Good. You can still remember me. Though it would've been better if you don't.

"What.. what are you doing here?"

"I was waiting for you to wake up. I think they overdid the sedatives. I was waiting here longer than I was told."

"Sedatives? I wasn't sedated. The last thing I remembered was passing out inside the freezer-"

"Ah, yes. You did. Two days ago." Lucas said.

"I was here for two days? Where's Min Jae? He should've known I was here. He should be-"

"Shh.. he's not here."

"Where.. where is he?"

"I think it's best that he's not here. Do you want him to get beaten up again?"

Baekhyun's eyes grew. He remembered the horror he witnessed and what Min Jae felt that night. He held onto his head when he felt a pang to his forehead.

"What did you do to him?" He said as he tried to ease the pain on his head.

"Oh, come on. I'm not a monster. I didn't do anything to him. Not unless he'd dare to interfere." Lucas said and he touched Baekhyun's blanket covered legs.

"What.. what are you doing?"

"It's been so long. I missed you."

"Get away from me!" He yelled and pushed Lucas' hand away. "I.. I just woke up."

"You don't remember waking up the day you were brought here?"

"I.. already woke up?" Baekhyun asked, confused.

"You did. For a couple of minutes before I had you sedated."

"Why? Why did you do that?"

"No one can know you're awake. I can't let it happen. As long as you're asleep, people won't bother us that much." Lucas said with a grin and he put back his hand on Baekhyun's legs, his fingers walking towards his groin. Baekhyun pushed him away again but Lucas already leaned over and touched his lips with his.

"What.. are you.. doing.. stop it.." he said in between the kisses Lucas gave him.

"You woke up. We should celebrate." Lucas said as he opened his button down shirt and unbuckled his belt.

"You want to do it here? You can't! I just woke up!"

"Stop whining. I know you missed this too." Lucas said and pulled out the needle from his hand, making Baekhyun scream in pain as blood slowly oozed out.

"What are you doing? That hurts!"

"We don't have much time left. Here, let me help you."

Lucas carried him and made him stood with his upper body arched and his hands supported his body towards the bed. His legs wobbled and are weak, but Lucas held onto him as he pulled down Baekhyun's pants, revealing his back.
