Chapter Thirty Nine

He was on his last lap when he was swimming at the indoor pool in his house. Chanyeol went home for the summer to relieve himself from doing the laundry. He wanted Baekhyun to go home with him but he refused and insisted to stay at the apartment.

His friends stayed at his house for a few days to enjoy the vacation and hang out without their books and notes.

"Ya, Park Chanyeol! You finally showed up. You've been missing since the last day of school." Lou Yin said.

"I've been busy."

"On what? Busy with your girlfriend?" Lou Yin teased.

"What girlfriend?"

"Oh come on! Are you bragging because you have a beautiful fiancé and we're all single?"

"Maybe if you don't dump a girl every week you wouldn't be whining now."

"That's not true!" Lou Yin defended.

"Oh yes, it's not every week. It's every few days." Chanyeol teased.

"Ya, Park Chanyeol!" Lou Yin splashed a heavy amount of water on Chanyeol's laughing face.

"He's not wrong." Joon Hyung said.

"Are you two ganging up on me?"

Chanyeol and Joon Hyung laughed as they splashed the water on Lou Yin's face.

"You two are definitely ganging up on me!" Lou Yin said as he laughed, fighting back the splash of water.

"Where the hell is Lucas? He said he'd go get us beer but it's been half an hour already." Lou Yin said.

"Maybe he got lost." Joo Hyung said.

"It's not that big of a house. And he's been here a lot! How is he being lost even make sense?"

"I bet he's on his way here." Chanyeol uttered before swimming towards the ladder.

When he got out of the swimming pool, Na Na walked in with Lucas. She was looking at Chanyeol, asking him to have a talk.

"What do you want?" Chanyeol asked.

"Do you have anything to tell me?" Na Na said.

"Get lost."

"You lied to me!" Na Na yelled. "You said you wanted to focus on your studies but that's not your real reason for moving out of the house."

"Whatever my reason is, it's none of your business."

"Why are you doing this? There's less than a year before we graduate and we're getting married after that. How can we be married if you always do this to me?"

"If you had enough then just go." Chanyeol said.

Na Na looked at him in the eyes, annoyed that Chanyeol kept pushing her away. She wanted to scream, but she did not want to do it in front of his friends.

"We'll talk later." Na Na walked out of the pool area and Chanyeol sat beside his friends to get a bottle of beer.

"What was that about?" Joon Hyung asked.

"She's just crazy."

"Some women are like that. They don't trust easily because some men are like Lou Yin." Joon Hyung teased and Lou Yin hit him in the back of the head.

"Go Joon Hyung, am I a joke to you?"

"Yeah." Joon Hyung laughed and ran away when Lou Yin chased him to the swimming pool.

Chanyeol kept glancing at Lucas, thinking if it is okay to ask him about his chat with Na Na.

"Lucas." Chanyeol called.
