It has been two months since their graduation day, and more than a month of Chanyeol's training at their company. He was planning to take the half day off of work to go to the restaurant and support Baekhyun's first day as a co-owner. He already bought a bouquet of flowers as a token and was just finalizing his report due on Friday.

"Chanyeol, Mr. Ko is looking for you." One of the employees said.

"Ah, yes. Where is he?"

"He's waiting for you at his office."

Chanyeol saved the file he is working on and closed his laptop. He walked beside a less taller man with the same built as him, and more or less a year older. At the end of the hall, he left him in front of a door of an office with translucent walls, and knocked before twisting the knob, peeking inside as he asked for Mr. Ko's attention. When he was let in, he stood in front of a desk where Mr. Ko was sitting behind, reading a report before looking at him.

"Sun Jin Woo said you wanted to see me."

"Mr. Park, please sit down." Mr. Ko said. "Your report on the total monthly sales of all the cafés we have is good. It is well-written, given that it is the first report you were assigned."

"Ah.. thank you."

"I am impressed with your work, and I hope I get to see more growth from you in the future. How is the report you are working on right now?"

"I'm almost finished, I'll just have to make a quick edit, and it's done."

"You have quite the energy there. Maybe it's because you are young."

"Thank you." Chanyeol said and was waiting for the right time to ask for a favor. "Mr. Ko, regarding the report I'm doing now, I'm almost done with it and I was wondering if I can have a day-"

"Mr. Park," he interrupted. "I have something to tell you too. You know, I admire how hard you're working despite being new. Regardless of being on probation, I already have my eyes on you for a promotion, given that you work hard for it."

"That's quite generous, sir."

"Among all the new employees we hired, you exceeded my expectations as I see you strive hard to do a good job. And I thank you for that. That is why, I am assigning you to assist an important project. I want you to help Ms. Jung Nari with a special client who wanted to open a branch in Busan. She is the daughter of a congressman, and she wanted to franchise one of our cafès there. Can I count on you to take good care of this?"

"Ah, yes, Mr. Ko."

"I want you to go to Ms. Jung today and ask her to brief you. She already knew that I am sending you to her and you two will work on the project."

"Today?"

"Yes. Is there a problem?"

"Ah.. nothing, sir. I was just.."

"If there is no problem, then I want you to go to her office after you have lunch. She'll be expecting you." Mr. Ko said and Chanyeol was left with nothing to do but to follow.

He left Mr. Ko's office feeling frustrated. He was supposed to ask for half of the day off but what he got was more work load. He looked for Jung Nari's table but she was not there. One of the employees told him that she went out for lunch, and Chanyeol will have to wait for her to come back.

Jung Nari was his senior at the university, and the fact that he already knew her made Chanyeol's communication at the office easier. He thought about asking Nari if they could discuss about the project some other day, but it was odd that he did not have her phone number.
