I wake up being held by a half naked Deven, making my mind go wild. Oh, yeah. We are dating and had sex last night. Wow... okay me, way to go! Have sex with the hotty who's now your boyfriend. Turns out he cleaned us up last night, changing us and clearing off my body.

"Deven," I whisper in his ear, then pull my head back to look at him. He opens one eye lazily, then smiles and closes his eyes again. "Come on Baby, time to get up. I don't even know the time," I mumble the last part to myself. I turn to look for my phone and find it's not there. "Fuck, our phones are probably dead."

"Damn," he groans out and turns to face the ceiling. He turns his head to me, I'm sitting up and stretching my back and arms. "How are you feeling?"

I look down at a smirking Deven, I raise an eyebrow.

"What do you mean by that? I'm feeling fine?"

His smirk never goes away as he says "Wait till you start walking, you'll feel it."

I roll my eyes with a "Sure," then lay back down. "Probably should get up, huh?"

"Yeah, I guess so. Did I go to hard of you last night?"

I lean over him and lower myself so our lips connect. "No, I enjoyed it all."

-----

"You don't have work, or classes, nothing?"

"I'm just gonna Email my professor why I couldn't make it in today, but I have my full-time tonight. Your phone finally on?"

"Yeah, I texted our aunt. May was good last night, but she did disobey and stayed up late with Alex. So, she's still asleep."

"Your aunts more lenient about that?"

"Yeah, I hate it but I understand. They don't spend the night together a lot, I just wish my aunt would respect me enough and make May go to bed on time. She's gonna be a handful the rest of the day, I guarantee."

"You guys have a whole schedule?"

"I have too, she has too. And, depending on her fits or attitude, the whole schedule can switch tracks. When she goes through one of her little attitude episodes the day will sometimes switch till the episode stops. But, she's got better at not having those. Every autistic child has something that can help "ground" them, Mays "something" is flowers. That's why they are all over. Plus, taking care of them gives her a sense of accomplishment and independents."

"That's cool, how you can read that or how you know what to do. But, that's gotta get stressful, huh?"

"You have no idea."

"I think I have a small idea."

----

"Hi, May," I smile at the little girl.

She smiles, but she doesn't yell or hug me she normally would.

"What you feeling, May?" Deven kneels next to her.

Alex rubs his head against her leg.

She looks at the long grass and just walks over to it. She brushes her palms against the tips of the grass. I raise an eyebrow at Deven as if saying "she's "grounding" herself?", and he just nods.

"How was she this morning? Attitude-wise?"

"Well, the fact I had no flowers all over the house didn't help," the aunt looks at May, "And she started getting upset. I didn't know why, so I'm glad Alex was there."

"Yeah, that's her episode. Most of the time I don't know why she'll get like that, but I do know something that can help. Anyways, thanks for taking her for the night, it was a nice break."

"Of course. Was this the date?" She looks at me.

He looks at me with a questioning look, I smile and nod.

"Yes, this is my boyfriend."

--------

"Hey May, would you like a V.B.?"

She is quiet, but she does grin and nod her head.

"Do you wanna tell Denny what's wrong?" Deven asks looking in the mirror for a second.

She shakes her head but just smiles and pats Alex.

"I'm okay," she whispers out.

"That's good. Now, let's go?"

She nods and puts in her headphones.

I grab his hand, he smiles, then turns on the car.

-----

"How about we go to my place, I got a surprise for may?"

I notice in the backseat she perks up. I also notice Deven looks over at me confused. I lean in and whisper about the neighbor I was telling him about.

"May, do you want to go see Angels home?"

"Our home?" She asks and Alex pops his head up.

"No, Max's home. He doesn't live with us, silly."

She grins, I turn back to her and she nods.

"Great, then let's go."

I pully my phone out of my pocket and text Ronny.

"You got classes?"

"Nah, at home rn. Why?"

"Darn. Well, Maiya, Deven, and I are on our way over there. I know you haven't met Maiya yet, so I needed to warn you and Deven if you were home."

"Do I need to leave? I will if she's not okay with it."

"Hey, Deven, Ronny's home right now, is she okay to meet him?"

"May, do you want to meet a friend of Angel and me?"

"They're nice?"

"Yes, he's nice."

"Okay."

"Then it's fine with me, just make sure he knows not to curse around her."

"Nah, you're fine. Just no cursing, Denny's rule."

"Denny???"

"*Deven!"

I put my hand to my face, then drag it down and laugh.

-----

"Ronny, I'm back and have guest," I place my keys on the hook.

"Hi," He comes around the corner with a smirk.

I mouth a "Don't say a thing!", he just chuckled and nodded.

"Hi, I'm Ronny, nice to meet you Maiya. Your brother talks about you a lot, and so does Max."

"Angel?" She looks up at me, I just smile and nod. "I'm Maiya..." She waves a little.

He grins, then crouches in front of May and Alex. "Whos this, can I pet them?"

"He's Alex, yes," May pats Alex's head.

"Alex, huh? Did you name him?"

"Well," Deven goes next to may and lays his hand on her shoulder. "He was named by our dad, his full name is Alexander, but when dad left we started calling him Alex. He only knows Alex now, so it just stuck."

"He's smart, huh?"

"Very."
