I got up this morning, and I felt in desperate need of some exercise. When I got back from the mall with Leah last night, I binged so much food and just watched tv.

So I roll out of bed and put on some Fila spandex shorts, and a matching sports bra. Then I had a light grey zip up coat, just in case. I put it on and zipped it up half way, then I threw my hair in a ponytail.

I started to walk out of my apartment, then I decided I should probably grab a water bottle. So I rolled my eyes and went back inside to get one.

I finally got going, I ran down the side walk as cars sped by. Then I eventually got to a more calm area with trees and bench's. I took a little break on a bench near by, then I continued my run.

I was minding my business, until I slowed down when I started to realize I was subconsciously heading to Leah's street. I debated on turning around, but I didn't want to finish yet, so I decided to keep going.

After awhile, I got to Leah's neighborhood. I don't remember exactly where Leah's house is, but I remember what it looks like. So I jogged around for a bit, until I saw a little dog running down the sidewalk coming my way. I stopped and just looked at it's ears flopping up and down as it ran.

Then I realized it's Leah's dog, Blue. He ran up to me and jumped up towards me, I bent down and petted him. "Hi puppy dog." I said sweetly as he rolled over so I could scratch his belly.

"What are you doing this far away from home?" I ask as I continue to play with him. "Hmm." I think to myself, and I figured he probably got out and just wandered off. So I think I should take him home.

"Let's get you home, Blue." I say and stand up, he gets back up too. And I just start to walk and he follows me, I would carry him, but he's a pretty big puppy since he's a husky.

We walked around some, until I came across a familiar house, then I noticed Leah's car in the drive way. Once I knew it was her house, I walked up to the front porch, and ringed the doorbell with blue beside me.

Eventually someone came and opened the door. And blue immediately ran inside past the doorway. "Ugh, there you are you jerk- oh- hi.." Kate says once she looks up from Blue. "Hi." I say and put on a fake smile. "Babe who is it?" I hear Leah call out from coming downstairs.

Then she comes over and she sees me. "Jennifer! Hi! What are you doing here?" She asks surprised, and Kate kind of steps away so Leah is in the doorway. "I was in the neighborhood, and I found Blue out running around, so I decided to take him back." I explain and she tilts her head.

"I thought I told you to take him outside?" She says and turns to Kate. "I did! He probably ran off when I came back in." She says and Leah sighs. "You're supposed to ducking watch him." She says with attitude. "Well I'm sorry!" Kate rolls her eyes, and Leah shakes her head facing me.

"Thankyou Jen, you're a life saver, really." She says sounding relieved. "Of course." I smile. "Do you wanna come in?" She asks and opens the door a little more. "Um.." I him and look behind her at Kate. "I don't think that's a good idea, I should really get going." I shrug. "Oh, ok, well we should hang out sometime, I still owe you ice cream." She says and I smile a bit.

"Definitely, I'll text you." I say and start to walk away, she nods and shuts the door. Well that was awkward.

I get down the sidewalk and I look back at Leah still watching me, I turn around and smile to myself.

"Nooo!" I giggle as Ben takes another bite of my ice cream. "You have your own dummy!" I laugh and so does he. "Fine." He laughs and shakes his head. "You can have some of mine." He tilts his head and I nod. He scoops some with his spoon, and I open my mouth for him to feed it to me.

I eat it off the spoon and nod my head yes since it's super good. He laughs a little and so do I. I look around for a sec, then I see Leah come into the ice cream shop with Kate. Great.

I got distracted when Ben spilt some of his ice cream on his shirt, and I bust out laughing. "Thanks for the help." He chuckles. "I'm sorry baby." I say and try to stop laughing.

I wipe his shirt with a napkin, and I look back over at Leah, and she's staring at me in line with this annoyed look on her face, while Kate is talking to her. I quickly turn back to Ben and continue helping him. He thanks me, then he gets up to use the bathroom.

I sit there for a second, then I look up when Leah sits in Ben's chair.

"Hi Leah." I say forcing a confused look. "Hey." She says and smiles sweetly. God, that smile. "What are you doing here?" I ask and look around realizing that Kate is probably in the bathroom. "Getting ice cream-duh." She giggles and I smile. "Right." I nod.

"I saw you over here....with Ben...and I just wanted to say hi." She says and reaches for my hand across the table. I smile to myself and watch as she strokes my skin with her thumb. "How are you two?" She asks. "Really good actually." I smile and nod. "Oh-that's good." She says quickly and nods.

"Mhm, what about you and Kate." I tilt my head and she takes her hand back. "We're...good." She says hesitantly and forces a smile.

"That's good..." I nod and see Ben wall over in the corner of my eye. "Well I Better get going.." I say and stand up. "Hey Leah!" Ben says and smiles. "Hi, I'll talk to you later Jennifer." She says and stands up too.

"Ok, bye." I smile and she walks back over to the line. "Is everything ok?" Ben asks as we walk outside. "Yeah, yeah of course." I say and put my hands in my pockets.

"Ok just making sure. Let's get out of here." He says and I nod.

The car ride back was pretty quiet, I couldn't stop thinking about what Ben asked me. Am I really ok? I don't know...but I do know that Leah isn't.
