*leahs pov*

We got to my place, and Jen immediately went in the bathroom. We haven't talked since the car ride. And I know she's still not ok. I sit in the bedroom, and just wait for her to come out of the bathroom.

Suddenly I hear the bath water start to run. So I lay back on the bed, knowing she's gone be in there for a while. I kick off my heels and let them fall to the ground, then I take my jacket off, and go on my phone.

I get bored and go downstairs. I let Blue out of his kennel, and take him upstairs. I walk in the room, and past the bathroom door, but I stop when I hear Jen crying. She lets out little sniffles since she's trying to keep quiet. I set Blue down on the bed, and he lays down and curls up.

I walk to the bathroom door, and lightly knock on it since I don't wanna barge in. "Yeah?" She asks in a sad tone. I slowly open the door, and step in, shutting the door behind me. I look over at the tub, and see her sitting with her legs to her chest, and her arms wrapped around them.

She had her face on her knees, then she looks up at me. Her eyes were red, and her eyelashes were soaked from crying. She bit her lip as more tears formed in her eyes. I sat on the edge of the tub, and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear.

"I'm so stupid." She sniffs and shakes her head. "Don't say that." I say and caress her cheek. She sighs and and traces the water with her finger. "You're still moving in, right?" I say trying to lighten the mood. She giggles a little and rubs her nose. "Of course." She says and forces a smile.

She puts her face in her hands and sighs. "I'm a mess." She says quietly and lays back in the tub, with her legs bent. I tilt my head and play with the water. We sit there for a second, then I stand up and step into the bath. Jen jumps a little since she had her eyes closed, and she looks at me like I'm crazy. "What are you doing?" She asks and I sit down in the tub, facing her.

"Can I not join you?" I smile and she giggles. "I'm sorry for acting the way I did at dinner" I apologize and she looks down. "I was just upset that you didn't tell them the truth, they shouldn't have found out that way." I tilt my head. "It's ok, that doesn't matter." She says and looks at me.

"I guess I'm selling my couch." She smiles and I laugh. "Come here." I say sweetly and open my arms a little. She smile and sits up, crawling over to me. She sits in my lap, straddling me as I just hold her waist. "I love you." She says and leans down giving me a kiss. "I love you too." I say once she pulls away.

I sit up and just hug her. We both knew what was gonna happen today, but we just weren't ready for the impact. I hate seeing Jen this upset, but I am glad it's over.

The next morning, I woke up first, so I decided to go out and bring Jen back breakfast. I get back, and head upstairs. Once I walk in my room, I see Jen still laying down, playing with Blue. "Hey you." I smile and she looks over at me. "Where'd you go?" She asks. "To get you food." I giggle and she sits up. "Lemme see." She says and holds her hands up. I hand her the food, and she pulls it out of the bag.

She smiles as she opens the food and starts eating. "Thankyou mama." She says and hands me the bag, and some trash. "You're welcome." I say and kiss her forehead. I go in the kitchen and throw away her trash, then I come back up and sit beside her. "I don't wanna go to work tomorrow." She pouts and plays with her food.

"You don't?" I ask. "No." She sighs. "Then don't, call in sick." I say and she shakes her head. "I can't." She says softly. "I think you should, you could use the rest." I say and play with her hair. "You don't have anything important going on tomorrow at school, do you?" I ask. "No, not really." She says. "Then stay here." I say and she tilts her head, looking at me.

"I'll think about it."  She says quietly and I nod. "You done?" I ask referring to her food, and she nods. "I got it." She says when I go to take it. "Ok." I say and she stands up with the food. We both go downstairs and she throws away her food. She sits at the stools of the island as I clean some of the dishes.

"Do you wanna do anything today." I ask and she groans. "Is that a no?" I ask. "No, I mean yes, I don't know, I don't care." She says and lays her head down in her arms.

"Well lemme know if you come up with something." I say and keep cleaning the dishes. "I mean we could see a movie or something...I don't wanna go out." She quickly changes her mind. "We could rent a movie, and just watch it here." I suggest and turn off the sink. "Yeah we could do that." She nods.

So we sit around and just chill out, until dinner time comes. We order take out, and eat in the kitchen. Once it got darker, we got comfortable on the couch and tried to pick a movie.

"There's that new one about the invisible dude." I suggest. "No, that one looks dumb." She says without even looking at the screen. I sigh and roll my eyes, then I continue to look.

"What about this one?" I ask and click on one. "I don't wanna watch that." She sighs and lays her head back. "Ok, then why don't you help me choose?" I ask and she rolls her eyes.

"What?" I ask. "I didn't say anything." She says softly. "What's wrong with you?" I ask. "Nothing, let's just watch the first one." She says annoyed. "Well I don't wanna put it on if you won't watch it." I say. "I will! I will watch it." She says, so I listen and just put it on.

We sit in silence while we watch it, and she was right, it is kind of boring. I set the remote down on the coffee table, and sit back down on the couch. I look over at Jen who was laying down, and she's already passed out. I rub my forehead and just turn the tv off.

I go upstairs and grab a blanket. Then I head back down stairs to the living room. I put the blanket over Jen and try not to wake her up, then I turn off all the lights down stairs.

I head to my room, and just go straight to bed. I know Jen is still upset, but I hate when she takes it out on me. I just don't want what happened with her parents, to come between our relationship.
